I have a set of the first vespa ones. I agree completely about the importance of centering the rim halves. It's a pity the didn't put dimples between the halves or some method to centre without drama. I'm really impressed with them. I'm liking the fact that the Gori name lives on too.

I got these and the finish is great. I powdercoated mine white. Upon unboxing saw in the instructions they are not compatible with a standard inboard disc brake. Why is this? I see the the nuts and bolts on the inside rim interfere with the disc hub. But this can be resolved with different hardware. Are there other reasons? Safety? Many Thanks for the video.

SLUK should make them to fit 12 and 13 inch Tyres as well. My 64 Lambretta GT 200 converted to Electric does 190 kph and I prefer to have the right single piece rim. As it is I had to make an adaptor to fit the 10 inch rims and to correct the larger holes than bolts, simply buy thicker bolts to solve the issue I would suggest. thanks for the vid well awesome KTF

They are not really poor quality. The nut height was a mistake in the packing dept and will be corrected in the future. The maximum pressure off the hub is a limitation of the Lambretta design (fewer fasteners than Vespa). The need for manual rim alignment is something that could be eliminated but it's not a problem to align during a build.
