Driving the Wild Atlantic Way in Ireland in a motorhome in 15 days - Galway to White Strand.

- Days 9 and 10 of The Slaw's 15 day drive along the Wild Atlantic Way @wildatlanticway in their Hobby motorhome @HobbyCaravan
They are following the route North to South taking in all the Signature Discovery Points and most of the Discovery Points.
Day 9 takes them from Galway to White Strand, near Miltown Malbey.
Signature Discovery Point - Cliffs of Moher
Discovery Points - Rinville Park, Ballyvaughan Pier, Murrooghtoohy Viewpoint, Doolin Port, Liscannor Bay.
Day 9 - 70 miles
Total - 972 miles
They find a beautiful park up for two nights at White Strand beach

Informative as always to help future visitors. I loved the coastal road drive and views with beautiful music. Wedding VeeDubs 😍. Had to laugh because I always do a runner when coaches appear too 🤣 Why no dogs allowed on a coast walk, that seems strange. Good to see the lotus grill out - we used to use one of those in our motorhome 😊. Great location you found for a BBQ park up, the sea looked so inviting well done braving a swim in it 👍 x

Nice to see you have some down time, a lovely place to stop over for a couple of nights. I’ve felt a bit weird when going into a large town or city after being out in the country for a few day, too much traffic, people and noise. Having said that Doolin at night is great craic.

Thank you. I am sorry that the four minutes, of sound that was less than our usual high standard, out of a 32 minute vlog spoilt your entertainment. I’m sure you can appreciate that it was windy on the beach and when the camera had been underwater the sound quality dipped even further. Hopefully the sound quality of the other 28 minutes made up for this?

Absolutely fabulous as usual. Galway is a very busy tourist city, it’s like that for most of the year. I was quite stunned at the price to see the Cliffs of Moher and I’m Irish. That’s a pity. Also having lived abroad for 10 years with a dog it amazes me how we don’t cater here in Ireland for our dogs the way they do in the likes of Spain and France. Your two are gorgeous by the way 🐶 and Well done on the Uke 👏🏻

You passed by The Burren without a mention of it being one of the most extraordinary geological features in the world. You were in Doolin, the mecca of Irish traditional music, and not a note. Maybe, a tad more pre-trip research would have added to this.
With all the best planning in the world, things don’t go to plan. We stayed at The Singing Pub on a Friday night to experience live music and there was none on! We weren’t in Doolin on an evening for the music and we couldn’t mention every landmark and feature of the WAW in our 15 days. The vlogs would have been hours long! Sorry to disappoint you.
Were considering doing part of the route this summer but we’re slightly worried about parking/access in a large motorhome. Most channels doing the WAW are campervan! How did you find it? Parking to visit sites good? Given the amount of coaches i assume its doable but no point if we cant stop at the views etc. great video as always. Thanks
Hi, we managed fine in our 7m motorhome. There were very few places we couldn’t get to and we show you these on the vlogs. The worst was the Beara peninsula. You’ll have a fantastic time though! 🚍☀️

Can I ask if you needed to get the dogs wormed in the uk before going to NI? Thinking of going later this month, but not sure what we need to do to take our labrador with us.
