I bought this phone 2019 and now I have this issue too, and it's been 2 months now. I always need to tap the pop camera a couple times till it shows on the screen, yes it's working fine but it's giving me a hard time doing it whenever I need the front camera. I wanna fix it so badly right now 😢
Same happened to me last month, after 2 years of buying this phone. I guess it's huawei's strategy.
