Friendship always should be non negotiable, as is trust. I can see the trauma bond as a pattern but not one I was prepared to engage in. Having just come from a trauma bonded relationship, but when taught this as a child, it can be a difficult pattern to break and possibly driven by the lower base nature or "primal instinct", as in passion(?) combined with trauma. The intense attraction. Hard enough to handle from one side without being beaten up becuase someone else is battling their own base needs. Yes, it was rather unexpected and it is rare.
Shadow work, is what we call it in spiritualism. Rather than hide the shadow, we need to learn to accept an integrate it; it is afterall, part of all of us and who we are. We all have a shadow side. Their higher and or lower self can be aware of many things; its wither they are actively consciously aware of it on this plane of existence that is the question/issue.
Sounds like someone I felt I had to walk away from becuase I couldn't handle fighting my own feelings and being beaten up by his as well. There was far too much offensive projection, but I also acknowledge, there is also a lot of lies documented about me. I was then asked by someone to give him time, but I am still being adversely energetically affected and the idea was they talk to me in the process; I will have to finally close the door soon. They need to either speak to me or let me go and don't expect that I return or just be available at a later date.
