I am very happy riot finally gave us some real answers about Omen's past, tbh the past few lore updates were not that big, they're not bad but they never gave us something exciting until now, I really hope they keep doing this and more frequently
It might be a long shot theory but given the way the leader described Shrouded Step to Omen as a directive and Omen himself as an asset, I feel like he may have been a sleeper agent of some kind. That might explain why viper still cared for him after she tried to kill him, and why she’s worried that he’s unpredictable now
For me the new agent’s ultimate is going to be like phoenix’s run it back like when she dies she can enter a chrysalis and after some time come back with full util and shields
i’m hoping they finally give us agent 8 this season since it is episode 8 and they’ve been teasing them for a while and the smokedancer code name has been around for a while as well. super excited to see cause my theory is he/she has time altering abilities and is likely responsible for Kay/os time traveling and exiled for bringing a fckn radiant kill bot back like 100+ years 😂. could be totally wrong but there’s also ties between 8/♾️/hourglasses in the lore and it leads me to think agent 8 could have gone back in time to found the scions of hourglass as a group to counter Kingdom on both earths and the other radiants/VP that he/she can see will destroy the world in the future. Also fitting for them to have an hourglass based time ability like a kind of phnx ult/time rewind thing. if they did create the scions of hourglass that’s arguably way worse than bringing kayo to the current time buuut it seems the vp doesn’t know sht about the scions rn so that’s prob not why they were exiled. all this could be totally unrelated and i’m just tying it together with the wrong assumption of agent 8 time traveling but it does make sense at least to me 🤷🏻♂️
