Thanks for the video, mine no longer works after taking the bulb housing out of the pool, I also noticed the electrical connector to the bulb was corroded, can this be sanded down or do I need to replace the housing?
The colored lightning would be a lot better with a CLEAR LENS. I can't believe you spent the money on a color changing light and covered it with a BLUE LENS

That Light Housing Is Not Safe To Use. Patching leaking electrical cords with plumbers putty/water weld is not safe even if there is a GFI on the circuit. Please replace old housings with new housings and run new wire to the junction box.
can you cause your pool light what a seal gasket onto the lamp lens that has a broken seal need to be definitely needs to be replaced or crack by salt pool you need to be alcohol the gasket to clean Lens gasket or if the len gasket seal to the lamp cause water to go into the fixture can cause The fixture to short and get electrocuted when you’re in waters The GFI can cause To Tripped If there was a lamp at fault to ground if this happens to you if this started to happen to you when your light starting to short shut off the breaker immediately and get the lamp to cool down and remove 2 screw and pull light fixure out putt it in the deck in work on putting in a new 500 watt incandescent buib with the water drain lower is not really necessary it safe because it has a ring gasket clamp that is tightened the fixutre and the rubber seal from the lamp seal it could be an easy fix if that lamp doesn’t work can cause by bad light buib socket or replaced the lamp when you change the lightbulb in the lamp and cause the water to go in the lightbulb and cause to Go onto the base of the light socket and can be very dangerous and tragedy and can cause the light fixture to have Moisture in there or water in there can cause by ring housing clamps is not even tighten before reinstalling the fixture can cause the very bad dangerous situation and stay safe
Flood lights run too hot and will melt the lens gasket. You can get a replacement Pool Light Bulb 300 Watt for under $10 but you should also replace the lens gasket each time and lube it up with Magic Lube teflon based lubricant.

at 1:27 was the black rubber sitting on the bottom part of is it inside ? I am trying to mount mine back but not sure which of the 2 routes to take

Can I just put a cheap bulb inside. Maybe a flood light or something. I don't own the home and am not going to spend much.

I didn't see color change but blue and green. Green is not a desired color hence algae or mold.
I think that the blue lens glass may impact the color output. He should put one in with a clear lens for full color output.

if you don't seal the light with silicone glue the water will run through the electrical conduit and if conduit is cracked you will lose water
What kind of calculation did you do to figure out that amount of water loss?
