- This time, Sophie returned with her brother Noah to the city where she was born, to see the beautiful flower park in Ashikaga Tochigi.
This park, well known to Japanese and tourists alike, has a wisteria flower tree that is over 160 years old.
This tree is very famous for having been transferred in 1996 from the center of Ashikaga when it was already more than 130 years old, with the effort of more than 2000 people it bloomed again in its current legal state in April 1997.
Also registered as a natural monument of Tochigi Prefecture, its delicate flowers bloom from April to May. And as we show in the video, from November to February it has lighting that is truly magical!
Admission: ¥700 for adults and ¥400 for children (10:00 ~ 15:00)
Admission to view the illumination: ¥1400 for adults and ¥700 for children (15:30 ~ 21:00) Saturday and Sunday until 21:30
