In Tago Bay, which is surrounded by an island and a breakwater on the west side of the Izu Peninsula, a quiet and very calm waterside, a total of 9km of waterside trips from noon to evening *
At the time of filming, due to restrictions on the area of the beach, we hurriedly moved from the east to the west Izu... It's a sea area with a superb view that you can enjoy more if you have a day ♪
This time, due to time constraints, we turned back past the Ukishima coast, but further south is the Sehama coast, where you can cross the island at low tide, and Dogashima, a blue cave with a huge view of the sky, which is a national natural monument. We also introduce footage of the unreleased part of "Tensodo" and "Norihama Kaigan" surrounded by islands.
The Izu Peninsula is a little unexplored and has a lot of geological interest, and many places have been certified as geoparks around the world. In exploration mode*
However, there are dangers such as falling rocks, so if you spend a lot of time near cliffs or inside caves, we recommend wearing a helmet.
Such places are quite far from residential areas and commercial areas, so we also recommend touring and tours with multiple people, considering how to deal with troubles.
There are many SUP and kayak tours on this route and its vicinity. I think that a knowledgeable instructor guide will guide you to a more wonderful place *
By car to Otago Beach/parking lot
Take the Tomei/Shin-Tomei Expressway to the Izu Jukan Expressway, then from the Tsukigase Interchange, take National Route 136 along Suruga Bay. Go diagonally to the right at the intersection about 2km beyond the Arari beach, and turn right at the intersection on the coast. We arrived at the dead end ahead.
    Using public transport
From Mishima Station on the Tokaido Shinkansen, take the Izu Hakone Railway/Sunzu Line to Shuzenji Station.
From the same station, take the Tokai Bus W39 bound for Matsuzaki for about 1 hour and 21 minutes. From the Tagoue bus stop, take a 10-minute walk to Otago Beach.
