Another limited edition 2007 craftsman! I got the exact same one two years ago non running for $25. Finally this year, thanks to your help with finding the new carb on instagram, I was able to get it back on the lawn! She runs and sounds like brand new, doesn’t even have that slightly rough sound to the engine as you’d expect for its age. I already had a 2007 craftsman almost identical to this limited edition model but I needed a new secondary mower for the other half of the property and this finding was absolutely perfect this mower is like new still, thanks to channels like yours I was able to fix it in a half hour & not spent hundreds of dollars!
A tip for you from Home Garage's channel: He ALWAYS siphons the gas out into a jar for inspection-old gas, water, oil, etc. Can save ALOT of work. I always do it now.
Well 9 out of 10 times the gas is fine. I’m not going to ALWAYS do it if it fires up. Sounds like a waste of time to me, and more work than necessary. If it ain’t broke….
Had this same mower earlier this season, did the same thing with the electric start. I think the wheels on mine had the same weird issue - tread like new but teeth stripped out. Great video, wish we got rain like that here!
Had one key start was handy for the wife. Ya gotta plug it in or it won’t start. Battery lasted about four years for me, new one was 25 bucks back then.
I just sold the same mower I took in on trade. The only thing wrong on it was yes, the 2nd time ever . Just spark plug. Go figure. I also took out the electric start. I usually scrap the starter. I doubt someone might want it. But I still have it in my scrap bin.
I have that model pretty much, curb pick 8 years ago. Converted it to auto choke and replaced all the parts to do it from a scrap picked engine. New battery was $20, still going strong. I did have to buy a charger to hook in the wire . All in about $60, it’s the ugliest mower I’ve ever seen. I’m not gonna sell it because I use it to pick up the leaves after a a big storm or hurricane in PSL Fl
Hey Henry hope all is well. I am local to you and I tinker we well. We have spoke before. I was hoping you could point me in the right direction. I have a John Deere D130 that has a delay in blade engagement. It’s like you push the pto lever and it has like a 5 second delay before the blades come on. Do you have any ideas what could cause that?
Good day Henry :) Where did you get your portable storage shed. I have been throwing the idea around of buying a couple to store my waiting to be reconditioned mowers in. That way they are not deteriorating out in the weather. Mot reviews i see are they are not worth buying. What are your thoughts ? VEVOR has good price on their product :)
Which one? I have like 4 all different sizes! They all don’t last more than a couple of years because in NY, hot cold hot cold, snow, rain, wind. Doesn’t last!

Hang on to those stripped, but well-treaded, wheels. You can use them as fronts for a rear wheel drive mower.
Oh for sure, but I have bins and bins of wheels
loving all your videos, i hope you keep it up
Thank you! Will do! Subscribing and liking helps the channel to keep going.

I’ve sold those starters easily for $30-$50!
@@MowersNBlowers good idea maybe I will check to see if it works and list it
Fun City!
I have this same push mower! I also work on mowers and started my own RUclips channel, I have yet to video this one.
Yes Tim I know who you are! You buy my stickers which I appreciate.

Nice! But spending $60 is cutting into the profit.
Good evening Henry how are you
Next time you know put fresh gas after cleaning the carb Henry 🤔
It's going down to 53 tonight here in Maryland.

Oh I know nick from bellport. I sold him stuff before
Really? Small world, I’ve known nick for 4 years.
The Supreme Court Justice had his flag upside down which is a statement that the nation is in distress.
That's why he's the best one on the bench...he's honest.
Thanks to the Democrats
Yes I am aware what that means
