I love the videos from the lockers its like Christmas you never know what you will find. Grandma and Wade have a close relationship and I love it. Spend as much time as you can together because we never know when our time is going to be up.
Yes , yes, yes give Grandma the pin it would look gorgeous on her. You both are the nicest people and I love watching your videos. New Zealand loves you. x
Of course, give Mom the pin. @ 24:38 I think Mom's right - sheets. I like the sound effects. Your relationship is priceless and entertaining. Gorgeous furniture! Mom, your afghans are beautiful! There's nothing cozier than an afghan to snuggle under when it's cold! Cats adore them too. Tyfs.
We have a little dog who needs a couch and a blanket at all times!! Thank you so much. I make them out of yarn from units and from donated to thrift shops so it is fun trying to match the colors and kind up to make an Afghan.
@@GrandmaVentures I forgot about dogs liking them. I actually made a tiny one for a chihuahua in Auburn colors, but I must have blocked that memory because I'm a Bama fan all the way!
I love this because I have 5 adult kids, and 6 grand babies and I’m really close with my kids. I’m glad to see a mom and son relationship. It’s wonderful. 🥰🥰
Hey Grandma Ventures and Wade. Having heaps of fun watching you.....like Christmas morning. That wheelchair is actually a transport chair. Note it has small back wheels as it is meant as a means of pushing a person or patient from place to place. I bought one a few years back for my very elderly mom as it was hard to get her to the docs or a store. It is also lighter than the wheelchair and less expensive. I got mom's at Walgreens The actual wheelchair has large back wheels so the patient can propell him or herself. Also I'm a kindred soul. .....I love knit and crochet and I had a hip replaced (very successfully) last year and broke my knee and the other hip this year on the ice. Hope you're doing better.....linda
Those giant plastic baby bottles are found alot at baby showers and are filled with samples of baby lotions and creams. Then it has a slot at the top and can be used as a piggy bank
Your Mum should have the pin, it is lovely Denise and I am often chuckling as we seem to like many of the same things. I have a chair with the up down mechanism and I wouldn't be without it, so much easier. The unit was a great buy Wade and your lovely son will love the bike and the truck bless him. Take care my friends love and hugs to you all Mary-Ellen UK
@@GrandmaVentures thank you Denise for telling me what you feel about my comments, you have made my day sweetheart. I don't always comment but I have good and bad days as I still have problems though the PTSD has been treated and I am much better without that lol. Take care my dear friend love and hugs Mary-Ellen
Near the beginning when you were looking in a wood box at the jewelry, I thought I saw a small beaded bracelet. If it is what I think it is, it would be a baby bracelet with a last name from many years ago. I have one that I have kept for years. The family would love to get it back.
Hi Grandma Ventures and Wade, I got a little sad watching this one, made me think of my Dad, he was a very bad diabetic when he passed 5 years ago, the family gave me his sugar monitor, strips, and etc, there was enough for 2 years, the 28th would be 83. I love to watch your videos, you both make me laugh! yes those chairs are very expense he had one of those also, I think yall got a good unit
The diabetic monitors you can get free so people usually have a few of them. When the new ones come out that's what you want to get. The lancets (needles) you could sell .
Wow! Their mom just have passed away. If I have things in storage when I'm gone, I hope it's lots of fun and beautiful things beside my wheelchair and cane.
Hey Wade & Mama Venture, FYI . .the suction bar for the shower is also used by crafters/quilt makers. They suction it to the cutting guide. It makes moveing it around a lot easier. 😊
I sometimes see people say that jewelry is costume if they cannot find a 14K or other markings on the piece. I inherited a diamond ring that had no markings and took it in to be appraised for insurance purposes. Turned out that at some point the band on the ring had been replaced and the new band was not marked, but was appraised as 14K and the diamonds had a total weight of 1.75 carets and of good quality. The total appraisal was for $10.000 and the jeweler told me that often replacement bands and clasps, on necklaces and bracelets, are not marked, but still are real gold. So don't assume, if it looks like quality jewelry.
@@GrandmaVentures Yeah I was disappointed in the movie. I think G'ma Mazur is my favorite character and Lula a close 2nd. They are one's I listen to over and over. Perfect for traveling..........Trying to find your youtube channel, do you have any videos? Not sure I found the correct one.
Looks like you got a lot of really nice items from that storage unit. I also enjoy watching you guys because of how close you are together. You don't see that very often in today's day and age
Shower chair is a transfer bench, bedside comode , and lift chair medical insurance will not touch! You have to pay cash for them. It will cover the lift motor, but that's it.
I know I am a bit late to comment, but I just got a lift chair very similar to the lift chair you found in this unit. I got it at Bailey's Discount Center in North Judson, IN and it was on sale for $500.00. It is great and so helpful to me. I do not know if you sold it yet, but if you are thinking of donating it, I am sure that they could really use it at a Veterans' Home. Their funding is so limited and I am certain that they would be so happy for something like the chair. Just a thought!! Hi Grandma Venture!!
It is not a wheelchair. It is a transport chair. It’s lighter weight than a wheelchair and doesn’t have the big wheels to propel yourself that a wheelchair has.
Grandma Venture I love, love, love Janet Evanovich books as well. I used to manage a used book store and got hooked on her then, just as Four to Score was being released and have read her books ever since. Yes used diabetic testing machines do sell. They do not require a prescription unless you need them that way for insurance. Same with the test strips and lancets. It's the C-Pap machines that are unlawful to sell. The suction cup shower safety handles are not really trustworthy. I bought one and it kept falling down, so I popped the sheetrock off the wall and added lumber in the wall to support where I needed a handle and installed quality one into the strengthened wall. Just not worth the risk of a serious fall. Electric lift chairs.....you buy the chair and insurance will buy the conversion kit to make your chair into a lift chair, but insurance no longer covers an already made lift chair.
Hi Willow thank you for all the information. It is funny when Wade held that up I almost said It didn't look safe. You must of loved working in a book store!! That wouldn't of been work to me!! Wade's father grew to hate all my books because the couple times we moved there were many boxes of them! I have let most go now. But not the Evanovich Books!!
Working in a bookstore was definitely a dream job, but I also managed all the gals apartments and did all the repairs and maintenance which wasn't too horrible but I hate plumbing and in those 100+ year old main street commercial buildings the plumbing was a mess. The book resource was awesome though because I was able to buy for mom and myself and use my discount. I traded all my moms books after she passed but still had to move them before I could get em sorted. Between her library, mine, and nearly 50 years of accumulation on that property, that move was epic. I got it all sorted and culled but it took me nearly a year to do it. I'm transitioning the majority of my book library over to digital gradually but some big series I'm keeping in paper form and Janet E is one of em. Dad wasn't fond of mom's or my book collection either but he couldn't complain because his antique padlock, arrowhead, and master woodcraft stuff took up far more space than our books combined....even adding in my beads, buttons, and jewelry making stuff. lol
@@willowowlseer You really had a interesting career. Your Mom's collection must of been huge. But how nice you did it your self! For your Mom I'm sure. 7:14 pocket watch worth very little. You press down on the top button to open it. its battery operated, max value is like ten bucks, maybe 20 if you spend 7 to put a fresh battery in it.
The “Royal Norfolk” dishes are a Dollar Tree brand...I know because I’ve bought some before. And I guess you know, but even some costume jewelry can be pretty valuable, depending on age (vintage) and if it was designed by a well-known designer or maker. Monet, Trifari, are good vintage sellers are still currently being made(& many others that I can’t think of the names right now) & Sarah Coventry sells well & is no longer being made. And Joan Rivers jewelry, no longer made, sells really well. And if you ever see any costume jewelry that has a swan 🦢 imprinted on the back, it is Swarovski and the crystals used are Swarovski; the man-made crystals are famous for their beautiful sparkle...and the metal, while usually not real gold or silver is generally high-quality.🤑
Now I wish I lived near you guys i'd make Wade but me lunch because his outfit makes me hungery for Chinese food...lol and at 18:04 the purple firefly give that to Grandma Ventures.
I love your videos, but this one saddened me a little. I felt the hospital equipment was for the serviceman in the pictures. I could picture the shower chair being purchased for him to come home. I felt the furniture might have also have been purchased for him. But he didn't make it. He passed before he could leave the hospital. At first, I thought the daughter was taking care of him, but I think it was his sister. That beautiful woman in the Roaring '20s would have been their Mother. This one was quite poignant for me. As usual, I love you, Grandma Ventures! I'm a Grandma too, so I get the whole white truck thing..lol..keep up the good work and I can't wait to see Ventures Kids!
