The "sucked off" does get overused in the US version, but the restaurant scene was epic. I have only just started watching the US version, and only up to that episode so far.
Though I think the UK version did it better in most ways, there are two things about the US version that I like: Trevor not saying anything because he thinks it's funny and having "go down" as a corresponding phrase for going to hell.
God it’s a terrible show, how many times do you wana use the same joke that worked so much better in the OG version, us brits know not to over do everything like the Americans.
Ur opinion is objectively trash. British version = good for brit U.S= better for Americans. It corresponds to our culture. Most Americans think the British show is dumber..... we don't follow your history we don't care....
Uk is funny sometimes but hits the emotions right. Like everyone has a tragic backstory and they feel like it. Us is a sitcom. I think the fall in each shows the difference: uk has Alison been pushed out a window by a ghost ( funny in a way but she was almost murdered like the ghost intended to make her one of them) us has Sam being in an accident ( could have happened anyway). One is serious and serves rare laughs the other has story but really leans on the comedy. It might be a cultural thing, uk shows have a different feeling than American. Both can work but won’t deliver the same way.
When Elias went to hell and Alberta shouted “he went down on us”, I SCREAMED!! 😂😂😂

And for four minutes we were all 14 y/o middle schoolers again. 😅
The Us version overdoes it and gets too elaborate. The OG takes only a few seconds and hits harder
Personally, I don’t see why they couldn’t coexist in the same world

Usually I would agree…. But I really thought the British version fell flat.
