If Sterling makes a transfer request and goes, contract is breached and club is not liable to pay him. He can request for it but club is not liable. Frank is not saying contract should not be honored. It's just that Sterling should prioritize football more and it is not that Sterling would play for free. His wage after a percent cut off of 315k pounds per week is still a lot (it's per week, mind you, and he has already earned money). Craig and Nicol are saying that it is unlikely that a player like Sterling would take wage cut and not down his contract for 3 more years and then would play somewhere else. Nicol thinks a young guy like Sterling would think that his career is still long and would not understand the short lifespan of a football until he retires. The ever developing competetive heights & commercial realities driving modern football these days, almost guarantees we will see a greater turnover in players. Every individual is different, their physical and mental capacities will vary, naturally producing some that will just survive for a time and others standing out and remaining competetive & sought after longer than others! Personally, always thought he believed he was better than he actually was and was guilty of a bit of "I'm the man" attitude which created his diminished work rate & fire in his belly? One of the problems for many young players who at a very young age are on enormous amounts of money....the "I'm the man" attitude is so easily fallen into if they are not well managed.
I just advised Sterling to stay put! He's 29, Chelsea just signed his retirement cheque! In 3 years, he will "officially retire" from football, or they pay him all his wages and he moves on!
I'd just collect my money, train with juniors and hush. Depends how bad he wants to play while still able to show his talents on the football field. Franck is right, Sterling has been a bust at Chelsea the past 2 season. 19 goals in 81 games, not great for a top earner.
He needs to go play a season in Ligue 1 for anyone who will give him high minute's and then Serie A or Liga. Stay at Chelsea and have them pay half his salary for him to go out on loan, Danny Drinkwater sat on the sidelines until his contract ran out. MLS will pay him premium after his contract runs out at Chelsea. Chelsea and Todd Boehly can fuxk off.

Raheem Sterling doesn’t need to prove anything. There’s a reason why he is on over 300K a week.
If any of these pundits on here were playing today they wouldn’t be getting paid anywhere near that amount.
Frank !! NEVER SAY NEVER 💯🤐🤐🤐
Boy the heat is real
What big wages is murdrick on? This guy is nuts
Why would he? Raheem Sterling is earning way too much to leave and earn much less. Unless Chelsea helps pay his wages.
Craig is the greatest analyst ❤
If i ever be the coach in Chelsea sterling will never get a minute...he is not decisive on goal, selfish and nerver gives the opponent a scare...trust me the new coach is right 💯
Why giving a bad example there are also examples of players that did well. Sterling even did better than Nunez getting a lot of money
The ever developing competetive heights & commercial realities
driving modern football these days, almost guarantees we
will see a greater turnover in players. Every individual is different,
their physical and mental capacities will vary, naturally producing
some that will just survive for a time and others standing out
and remaining competetive & sought after longer than others!
Personally, always thought he believed he was better than he
actually was and was guilty of a bit of "I'm the man" attitude
which created his diminished work rate & fire in his belly?
One of the problems for many young players who at a very
young age are on enormous amounts of money....the "I'm the man"
attitude is so easily fallen into if they are not well managed.
Villa absolutely need a left winger... they are short in that department, clearly makes so much sense
Sterling will earn 45m with Chelsea over the next 3 years. Why would he move at their request!
What if sterling was the pk taker. Thats 15+ goals
His pen taking is terrible. It's like his has no power or no placement in his shooting.
@wdred that's why I said 15+ and not 19 goals lol. I believe Palmer scored 9 pks for chelsea
Lol
he was on Pens after Jorginho left Jan23 or when Jorgi was on the bench he was awful even Palmer gave him one last season & still missed it
@@wdredlet me tell u this man city will never have a winger with sterling stats and Chelsea doesn’t have anything that can win them anything
It’s Neto and Felix replacing Sterling you plank Burley
I just advised Sterling to stay put! He's 29, Chelsea just signed his retirement cheque! In 3 years, he will "officially retire" from football, or they pay him all his wages and he moves on!
Who's paid most, Craig and the pundits or mr 'sterling' ? 😊
This Frank guy pisses me off with this love of football. Football is a job, he has a contract. Pay him the remainder of his salary and let him leave or let him be
Burley's going on about not performing but he's able to get away with it by talking rubbish and getting well paid for it.
Sterling's USP was his speed. At 29 its way down. In terms of skill he is average.
This is exactly Marcus Rashford's future.
I would love to see sterling stay and keep picking up that big check from chelsea which would be a waste of money for chelsea. I would stay and kick up a fuss
When I hear Stevie talking it's like listening to my wife
Ooh 🤦 yeah
She's Scottish too 😅😅😅
You people You dont like the player and if you dont like him dont say he is going to do the same thing in other team
I don't like Sterling but given the predicament he is in he should just chill out and play golf at Chelsea's expense. He has 3 more years of a very lucrative contract remaining and after it runs out he can always play at the Saudi league or the MLS.
He will just do a Gareth Bale and sit it out for the money.
Both of Chelsea and Sterling are terrible recently . The question is who will be the worst next season between this two
Stop being football romantics this is Chelsea's fault. Sterling is doing what anyone in his position would do
Never been a fan very overrated, Challabah on the other hand I don't understand so good in defence in multiple positions, no whining a total professional in every way.
Frank in this miserable world you cant get rid of your money
Yes, let's put all of the blame on Sterlin in a dysfunctional Chelsea team.
9 year prison sentence
Frank @ it again. Nonsense talk
I am a Chelsea fan. If I was in sterlings position I wouldn’t leave. Milk the money train. Sterling is better than misha way better
take the 300 k , go and train with the juniors , then leave on a free
Misses too much chances
Come to Liverpool
He can just stay … cash in and do nothing except what his contract requires him to do.
Sterling won't take sign such a nonsense contract Mr Burley. 😅
Isn’t amazing he’s been slaughtered by just about everyone last two seasons, dropped from England, now Chelsea drop him and its outcry, let’s not forget how he forced his way out of Liverpool
Craig Burley still talks rubbish and proved he still has an axe to grind with Chelsea
Bailey wants his jamaican guy at villa
Sterling HAS a three years contract….. take the cash and put your feet up….. OR….. take £25M in cash and wave goodbye….
No really only last two years have been poor. Before that one ok season and three great seasons. He is only 29 he can bounce back. The question is does he have the hunger and focus.
If I were Sterling, I'd make Chelsea pay the full amount to terminate my contract if I'm to be forced out in this humiliating way
this or I just chill earn 325k a week for minimum effort with U21s till I'm 31 by summer 2026, sign for a lower side on free play few more seasons then retire
What that French guy on about he want sterling to walk away from all that money because he loves football in this economy..what a load of nonsense
Take up golf , do a Bale
They don’t like him.😢
Nooooo no nooo he isn't the right fit for us at Villa. That rumour is ridiculous and sounds like his agent whispering so drive up interest.
Smh... sterling is a great player..
I forgot how much I dislike this show
karma at its best.
Remember how he wanted out of Liverpool and now it's time for a club to chase a player out 😂
Sterling is a lazy player hence why maresca doesnt want him… he doesn’t even try to hide it.. he doesnt even play for the big check he gets… im glad hes getting the boot
It funny how one person can ruin your future
