Actually Maher had a pro bowl type season, right up to the playoffs then fell apart. Maher is the only kicker to have 4 FG of 60 or more yards. He has 60,62,62,and 63 in his short career. Their new kicker Aubrey lined up for a 66 yard attempt against the Patriots in week 4 but a false start stopped that attempt. In practice, Aubrey hits from 66 pretty regularly. But that's different than kicking in a game, but he has the leg to kick long FG. So far his longest came in preseason from 59 yards. Other than his miss on 1st extra point attempt, he is perfect on the season and is 13 for 13 on FG attempts.

Gabos, the problem with what you're saying though is that even had the Jets gotten Trevor Lawrence they still had a horrible O-line and they still do to this day. Lawrence would have become the next David Carr with that bad O-line. For that matter, how many QBs have been injured behind that O-line? Hell, if Rodgers hadn't gotten injured against the Bills, he would have against Micha Parsons and that Cowboys' D-line that pummeled Tom Brady into retirement.
As for Micha Parsons, Teams in that draft weren't looking extremely favorable on Micha Parsons after he skipped the Covid season as there was no recent film of him. Hell, the Cowboys traded back 2 spots and were STILL able to get Parsons so 11 teams bypassed Parsons, including the 49ers who got Trey Lance...
As for Zach Wilson, do you really think any QB would have been able to do any better vs that Cowboys' D-line with that Jets' O-line? Without Wilson's running ability it would have been far worse for the Jets.
Yes I do think anybody else would’ve faired better than Zach Wilson. The kid plays with 0 confidence. Like he’s in his 3rd year and still has no identity as a passer. But good points about that Oline. But I think if they realized they got their franchise QB. They would’ve improved that line for em. Zach just feels like a mistake. Especially when u see some of the gems that got drafted after him. Appreciate your thought on this.

The problem is that a LOT of teams don't focus on their O-line or D-line. One team that does is the Cowboys. Wilson played really well for most of the game and showed a ton of improvement compared to last season. The majority of those Ints came when the game was already out of reach and he was trying to make things happen. Now, the one pass that you questioned from Wilson that nearly got picked off was tipped by D-Law but you aren't able to see that from the highlights.
In the end, I'm a Cowboys fan and I give respect to Wilson. He showed improvement and has to deal with an impossible situation.

Not really your fault, since anybody who really believes in the Cowboys would suffer through multiple depressions due to endless Cowpoke failures and inability to get it done when it counts. Boys got DOMINATED by Cardinals with Dak throwing one of his signature interceptions when the game was on the line.
Every patriot Super Bowl is tainted so is Tom shady.
