I noticed that you don’t use your rooftop tent much now. Did you find it lacking, inconvenient? They’re not cheap and a pretty big investment. I’m looking at a 270 awning and a rent for my Tundra. Thoughts?
I love the concept of roof top tents and would love to get back in one (trying to find a hard top that suits). The y62 has a 100kg roof limit which makes it hard to run a hard top and awning. The soft shell ones are great once set up (and are light etc) but I found dealing with the pvc cover a bit of a pain. It's also not ideal if you're setting up a base camp for a couple days + and want to explore - not much of an issue with hardtops since you can pack down in like 30seconds
How long does you turn the Tramezzino on the other side. I still haven't got the perfect toast with my FM Saturn X. What type of bread,cheese brand do you use? Most of the breads are too large for the toaster.Any tips too get the perfect toast?...I have pretty much the same gears/ brands of yours (Sea2Summit, Fire Maple, Zempire,Darche) except for your Patrol...😂😂
Yeh we have the same issue with bread lol, we just find the smallest loaf we can get but you can still see it is too big. I've been telling myself to cut the crust so it fits better. I usually run the stove on fairly low and maybe 3-4 mins each side? I just pop it open every now and then to check on progress which makes it much easier to judge readiness

I took it off so I could clean the roof 😅, haven't put it back on as I was thinking of changing to a hard top but haven't decided what to get yet.

Are hardtops a better option than soft top, do they really help with gas mileage ( air drag)
