- Namaste travelers! I flew on the first Air India Airbus A350-900 from Mumbai to Chennai, this was an incredible experience to try the new onboard amenities, food service , new seats, in-flight entertainment , friendly service from the check-in staff and the cabin crew members through out the flight.
India’s leading global airline, achieved a significant milestone as it received the first of its 20 Airbus A350-900 aircraft, registered VT-JRA. This marks a pivotal moment in the airline's ongoing transformation journey, showcasing a bold new livery.

Air India’s A350-900 features a three-class cabin configuration with 316 seats , offering 28 private Business Class suites with full-flat beds, 24 Premium Economy seats with extra legroom, and 264 spacious Economy .

Beautiful plane i loved the color of the seats the service was great and i was really impressed by a wide body plane in aregional flight and with ptv a very nice report cheers jerry

Air-India flies direct Non-stop flights from San Francisco to Mumbai, good. But , they should start such direct Non-Stop flights from Other major cities in USA to major cities in India, like Qatar, Emirates and Lufthansa that do with one stop in between.

Air India has seen huge improvements and they are working extremely hard to make things better. When it was run government of India majority of business class and first class cabins were occupied by well connected people who bought cheap economy class tickets and used their power or infulence to get free upgrades. Now under the private mangement these classes have become 90% revenue generating.
Earlier and now also the corruption in DGCA is causing the regular fines in India, except Air India was never fined by DGCA when it was run by the government. Indian civil aviation ministry officials and DGCA officials are extremely upset at loosing the free Air India previleges for their families where the requests coming in for free upgrades are being denied by Air India.
My understanding is the Mr Scindia and Mr Modi have been made aware about these practices and an investigation is going on to get to the root of the historical practices and the current state of affairs.
Air India is getting better and better ✈️✈️😀😀, the A350 and new products are a great start ✈️✈️
After the pilots and crew were trained sufficiently A 350-900 would be used on Dubai sector.

Air India Should start serving their meal like Singapore Airlines, the Packaging of Air India is still bad it destroys the food even if it is prepared well because I ate the same food made from the same kitchen, one tasted great another tasted extremely dry and weird only noticeable difference was their packaging.
I think the changes are coming soon in economy class as well , hope they change the meals in economy , thank you for commenting ✈️✈️

I think you mean AIRLINE. There is nothing wrong with the A350. It’s a great plane, very state of the art and modern.
