Is there a reason why you separate them into their own cages or are they able to stay in a cage together? I have three baby house finches that I am working on weaning. And I currently have them all together.
Hi, the parents will get territorial when they are ready to nest again. They will start chasing the babies around once the new ones arrive. If you remove the nest they should be fine.
