just an opinion... but one of the best acoustic shows ever. The people that went to this show got a real treat. Tim is so good and even cooler in person I got a once in life time opportunity to meet him. Great dude and a godly inspiration to play!
I was there! We tried in 2003. Could only get one ticket. 4th row. Long story on what my buddy did with that ticket. Tried again in 07. Lucked out. Memorable indeed.
Agree so much this was always my favorite album/DVD. I’ve seen him live several times but never like this. I compare this to the Nirvana and Alice N Chains unplugged. Would have loved to have been there.
Saw them in the Glasgow leg of this tour. Still to this day sends shivers down my spine. One of the best concerts I have been to. Best acoustic set ever.
Joey Stephens joey, interestingly, His voice is actually froggy here, which he explained during the show. Cant remember if that comment made the dvd though. Back when they dedicated every other year to a d+t tour, his voice was always in good shape. Here, it is great, but surprisingly not up to par with the other shows during this same tour. This is part of what made these /those d t tours so special. His voice was exceptional. Look up d t Las Vegas 09 for example. Or their 03 tour. ruclips.net/video/VptAj8_s9go/видео.html ruclips.net/video/Xo-2yqJ-QB8/видео.html ruclips.net/video/r3DcRWkC4v0/видео.html
This will always be one of my favorites. This makes me emotional and think of my beloved black lab named Cash who passed last October. 14 years gone too quick.
I seen dmb in Dallas, 31/2 hours of beautiful music. It's so easy to lose yourself in dmb or just dave & tim. Oh and balafleck was touring with them. Totally awesome also.
I was in the orchestra for this show.. same night the Red Sox hit 4 home runs back-to-back-to-back-to-back against the Yankees. Didn't beat this show (from a Red Sox point of view) but an extra treat to the night!
for real i forget which set it was that i was listening to,i think it was farm aid in atlanta or something and warren hayes came out and his solo was just bad compared to all the tim solos id been hearing lol tim is irreplaceable he fits in with the band so well and he is a member just as much as the rest of them in my opinion hes been tagging along with dave for alooooong time no hate on warren i just think he doesn't mesh as well with the sound dmb has
how many shows have dave & tim done at radio city music hall and what years, does anyone know? i am finding so many clips, and not sure what performances they are from, cheers
Does not matter how many times I've listened to this version. Goosebumps every time. Love DMB!

Michael Riffle Opinion? No. Fact. Without question!

Best cover ever from Dave IMHO.
Heroin drug me over the rainbow for years; six years clean this year.
Tim Reynolds is a true master

I think that with songs like this and all along the watch tower, DM/DMB is becoming one of the best 'cover' song artists ever. This is amazing!
lock stock and two smokin ass musicians. this song makes me wanna live in a van down by the river. Thanks Chris
4everwhiteknight You made me laugh out loud!!!!.....In a van..down by the river! ps. I liked that movie and loved Snach.
I wish I was there.
This is one of the most beautiful arrangements of all time.
Phenomenal performance
anyone else noticed it sounds like Dave got voice lessons around this time? He's killin' it

A thousand times better than the original version
