- I decided to upload these because the version Woolie uploads is condensed and has to cut out tons of stuff due to copyright. I dont have to worry as much (since YT says no money for me)
Also, some people literally can't use Twitch and never got to see these streams.
And lastly they were starting to take up too much space on my drive 😅
Now since Woolie uploads these to YT unlike Pat. As a rule going forward I will upload future Slops stream with a delay of 2 weeks after his own upload cuz I don't wanna step on anyone's toes.
I will be posting the Slop VODs weekly until we catch up to the current Slop 11.
Thus 11 weeks.
And yes......the titles will get worse....🙂

I'll never understand that meme of how 'Fate is too Deep Anime Internet Weeb Shit'. It's easier to explain than almost any shounen, even.

I still remember the time when his biggest claim to fame before in the weebsphere is Notes and he was trying to connect Tsukihime and that by using the Types.
I still remember when people panned his efforts to do so and insist that Notes was just fine as a standalone story and it doesn't need to be that deep.
Of course then Fate happened and he took the origin bullet idea from Notes and by that point no one can tell him no, not even his friends in French Bread.
Seriously, man needs a wrangler.
It definitely does get more complicated than that, but it's still not so fucking complicated that it's any more or less abysmal than the average jujutsu-nen-chakra-ki-power-scaled hyperborean bullshit a shonen would throw at you.
Your description gets subverted or made more complicated in multiple different ways in the very first Fate work. Your description somewhat gets across the very base concept of some Fate works, not all, but it's way more complicated than that. It honestly sounds like you heard an explanation of the Holy Grail War, like Rin's in the SN prologue, and took it at face value and assumed every Fate work followed it. This isn't to say that it's some super hard thing to describe Fate though, it's just that saying it's even easier to explain than almost any shounen makes me think you've barely touched the franchise.

Woolie can hate whoever he wants to hate, but his argument about Ingrid not having fighting moves are bullshit and the footage shows it, so Ingrid might be annoying and the thesis of abi doesn't work for woolie but thats because woolie argument isn't something that is real, Im sure there are lots of reasons to hate Ingrid but that about she doesn't having fighting moves... Still funny jajaja seeing woolie losing jaja his shit jajaja watching the video
OK what woolie says at the end is different, but still menat and rose aren't hated and treated as Ingrid, so sure she still doesn't fit, but not for the arguments he mentioned
Look we all know the biases surrounding Ingrid is really not that deep:
She was from a scrapped fighting game that didn't really pan out, and out of the three cool looking characters they could have saved, they chose to save the girl. SALT #1.
Then, they puked out a subpar asset flip fighting game with a slap dash roster and really unintuitive mechanics. And out of the many characters in it, she was the only new sprite, ergo this is her game. Game sucks = she sucks. SALT#2
Then she showed in a really beloved game as an extra character that surprisingly has deep story implications and did some Mary Sue tier bs(healing Ryu's Satsui, and spanking Bison's behind very easily) Salt#3 and 4.
TLDR - they hate Ingrid for BS reasons that got parroted by other FGC content creators and got bandwagoned into what we see today. It's stupid and , as the recent Capcom "drama" with the DRM showed, no one tried to understand the situation and everyone got into their feelings.
I was gonna say I think it has more to do with Ingrid being a recycled character from a genuinely awful game in Capcoms long ass history of f***ing up.
