Procedure to be followed in column marking:
1. Columns should merge with the wall and should not stand alone.
2. Direction of the column should merge with the wall.
3. Choose the corners of the rooms
4. Column positioning should not affect the doors & windows
5. Projection of the column should be avoided
6. Four corners of a left or a staircase
7. Finally Check for the addition or reduction of the columns
