There's a great photo from one of the original advertisements from Roland with a TB-303 and a TR-606 sitting on Canadian Jazz musician Oscar Peterson's Roland piano.
The KLF hired Tammy Wynette to sing on "Justified & Ancient" thinking they were hiring Dolly Parton but got the name wrong. Oops. Still, better than burning a million pounds.
