1周年おめでとう！一人一人が主役のXSOLEILが大好きです！
投稿されてちょっと経ったけど改めて。声質も音域も違うメンバーだからこその最高のハーモニーだなって思った。
コトカ→フルート、メロコ→ホルン、会長→オーボエ、ピオちゃん→トランペット、ヘックス→チューバみたいな、華やかさと厚みを感じて好き(楽器の異論は認める)
個人的には、皆の声を繋ぎ合わせてくれる、優しくてちょっと憂いを含んだヴェールの声が大好きです💕
It's been a little while since it was posted, but again. I thought it was the best harmony because the members have different voices and ranges.
I like the gorgeousness and thickness of the music, like Kotoka - flute, Meloko - horn, Ver - oboe, Pio-chan - trumpet, Hex - tuba (I admit to disagreeing on the instruments).
Personally, I love Ver's soft, slightly melancholy voice that connects everyone's voices 💕

Kotoka shared with us that each member is supposed to represent one of the senses, and together they make one whole, and I think the illustrations really brought those feelings out beautifully! The combination of the visuals with XSOLEIL's vocals give a sense of pensiveness, inner strength, pride, and dignity. Especially when the scene changed at 2:35, there was a powerful feeling of triumph and self-acceptance and the dignity of knowing one's worth and not being afraid to show it. I think XSOLEIL told their story beautifully through this song, and showed the world the pride and prowess of being XSOLEIL!

Each time that I've come back to listen to this cover, I can't stop thinking how pretty Pio's voice is and savouring each of his lines, especially at 0:42, 1:00, 2:10, and 2:46! There's strength and energy to it, and also a really beautiful tone that makes me itch to hear him sing more!
Ver's voice caught my attention too throughout the song; I really like the tone he sang with, and the softness very much suits the song and ties the mood of it together. I especially like 0:45 and his humming at 1:49!
Hex's voice also sounded very soft and comforting, and I like the feeling that he was supporting everyone like a buoy or a safety net. I liked 1:35 and the the way he harmonized with the boys at 2:14!
Meloco sings so masterfully and beautifully, and it shines through in each of her lines. There's a sweetness to it bolstered by her dependable and powerful singing abilities! Her clear voice at 2:22 and harmonies at 2:50 (I believe?) are especially beautiful!
I really liked the emotions coming through Kotoka's singing throughout the song, it really brings out the stronger emotions and desperation of the song and adds an extra dimension to it. Especially at 1:31, 3:05 and in the chorus at 3:08! Thank you Kotoka also for all your hard work and coordination on making this cover possible! You and XSOLEIL all shine through all of your combined efforts! 💖♦🌂🖤🐣)

Really love the the detail Kotoka mentioned that the five each represent a sense each, and the artist did AMAZING depicting each, while showing the beauty of each member. Kaichou’s sentimental coolness, Hex’s in-the-moment calm, Doppi’s go-getter vigor, Meloco’s gentle comfiness, and Kotoka’s lively energy (even with just how she holds her headphones)
Everyone seriously looks so pretty, honing not just in thematic colors, but in their full colors! AND WHEN I SAY. THEY REALLY BLEND IN SO AMAZINGLY WITH THE BACKGROUND. MM. MM. MMMMMMM!! Seriously kudos to the artist! Really making this such a blessing on the eyes to absorb yumyumyum!

The animator did amazing on the details, ESPECIALLY in capturing the angles and parts of the illust that would look good in composition and all! The transitions are HEAVENLY to look at. And I will never recover from the film theme put into these. Okay but the transitions. Like. Deadass these are so good. My favorite probably being the second verse and the end when we get one last glimpse at each individual member as they stand together. LIKEYGYDHFADC ITS LITEARLLY SO BEAUTIFUL???? WHAT IF I COMBUSTED RIGHT HERE RIGHT NOW You really helped bring this movie out so spendidly, blending these well made backgrounds to blend with such wonderfully made illusts! I heard that you and Kotoka worked like. A good MONTH or so to make sure her version came to life, and imo, it came out REALLY well. A good animator with a good vision made for an incredible visual movie for this cover. I cannot be anymore thankful for how well put together this is.
Vocals:
When I say XSOLEIL slayed. I meant it. I have NO idea how much the members fully communicated on their vocals (besides hearing Hex really made sure to get feedback from kaichou to know he did his best). Everyone really sounded like they did! The pronunciation was on point, and. YOU GUYS SERIOUSLY SOUNDED SO GOOD LOW NOTES AND ALL HELLO??? ALONG WITH THE HIGHER NOTES???!?!??! NO BECAUSE LIKE- AYASE SONGS I SWEAR LIKE THESE REALLY THRIVE BUT ALSO CHALLENGE ON RANGE. So seeing a group cover, from XSOLEIL Of all is REALLY something to be deadass proud of.
Doppi: Heavens KNOW he can hit high notes and give a solid performance singing his heart out oh so naturally. Im REALLY glad he could show his high notes here in official cover form! Yes he can already sound naturally handsome and cute in singing, but its not everyday you can hear him use his full potential in range, TILL NOW IG!!!! So im seriously thankful this song could let him thrive! He really did well slamming the melody in his power vocals!
Meloco: Beautiful voice that holds a sweetness that adds a pretty color to the cover! She really blends in amazingly with the group, and YES I SWEAR I CAN HEAR HER SLAY BOTH IN LOW AND HIGH??? GOODNESS SHE IS INSANE IN RANGE WITH EVERYONE. She always sings as though trying to reach out, and this cover no different! Except with ALL of XSOLEIL once more! Uwaaaaavdsbbasyh gosh it sfoaSOSOOO
Hex: okay. I. Love basses so much. like. Hex needs to know HOW Much a bass can do. It really adds a nice harmony in the back, being pleasant to the ears! Yes, his low voice is HELLA low, yet he seriously has a good voice that vibes awesomely! Like. He blends in REALLY well with the group. Like. Deadass. AND can throw listeners for a loop the first listen- ACTUIALLY WAIT CAN I JUST.
GUYS EVEN THE FCIRST LISTEN WAS AMAZING BECAUSE OF HOW DYNAMIC THIS WHOLE GROUP IS??? LIKE???! DOPPI’s ENERGETIC RANGE, MELOCO’S BEAUTIFUL POWER, HEX WITH THE COOL LOW (emphasis on cool because its ONE thing to have a low voice, its another to use it effectively!), VER’S SOFT HEARTTOUCHING TONE, KOTOKA’S SLAM DUNK HARMONIES AND FLUIDITY. LIKE???? ITS SUCH A FUCKING COMBO?!? Telling ya. They all already have such pretty voices. The fact that they just. UHFHGHG THEY ALL HAVE THAT SPECIAL THING YA KNOW?? THAT THYE HONE IN THEIR OWN WAY. (And obv take my thoughts with a grain of salt im just one perspective)
Ahem! As said. Hex is good bass support! He really does blend nicely with the group though, like you can tell he delivered his all, it seriously sounds good.
Ver: Deadass. His soft voice is such a good stand alone with the solo lines. Like they tickled my ears first listen and continue to. Ver sings in a way that touches a sentimental part of my heart, and for that that’s awesome! He mixes well with everyone too, and please lemme say im so fucking happy to hear him. Like. So naturally. DONT GE TME WRONG HE SOUDSN SO COOL IN HOLD IT DOWN YET THIS HITS SO DIFFERNT???! LIKE DAMN KAICHOU! You can really hear him well! Also wow he can hita. Good low note.
Kotoka: Kotoka. Litearlly is a one man army istg. Obv in more ways than one but Particularly for VOCALS- i can hear her everywhere! Both in harmonies, melody, and mMM MM MMMMM those aaaaaaa’s really do wonders in this song! Also my gosh i’ve always been a big fan of Kotoka’s high notes since HOLD IT DOWN, and it seriously continues to thrive here. Like. OKAY I WISH I COULD EMPHAISZE HOW MUCH I LOVE HIGH HARMONIES TOO JUST KNOW WHOEVER ALONG WITH KOTOKA DID THOSE HARMONIES THEY WERE MM M MM. M. DELICIOUS. Also I swear Kotoka really sounds amazing here…like i think i found new solo lines of hers to favorite.
Overall? Okay first THANK YOU FOR THE VOCAL COMBINATIONS??? Not everyday you can hear how certain trios or duos sound together, so this was AWESOME!
Tbh, this as a group cover is amazing on all ways. Meaning, and in delivery. Cinema really celebrates the idea of despite the struggles, to continue forward shaping your life and writing your own story as your own main character. Through the vocals, art, and MV”S assistance to bring altogether symbolism, each member in XSOLEIL has their special qualities that make them their own main character. Yet, a main character doesn’t have to be alone. Afterall, they can be together in sharing that story.
This group cover proves so, deadass this only sounds better and better with every listen i have been looping sing typing this essay. Im REALLY REALLY happy you guys chose to do Cinema for a group cover. XSOLEIL I really think thrives so well as a group both in dynamics and for how their special individual qualities make pieces like these HELLA impressionable! Its more than just sounding good, it sounds special and meaningful.

im listening to this again for the nth time at 1am and i got emotional, so im gonnq write a letter to xsoleil here
when xsoleil first debuted, i had other kami oshi waves and i thought that wouldnt change. however, i found myself falling in love at first sight with their lore, personality, and most importsntly synergy.
i cant deny that the first year of oshi ing them is hard, heck it still is now. thats why half a year before this cover even existed, ive wanted xsoleil to sing cinema, a song about feeling like youre never the mc of your life and wanting to give up, to painting your own story with your own colours. xsoleil has been thru a lot and yet has never completely given up, putting our smiles in the top priority.
this year has... still been tough, for xsoleil and for nijisanji en in general, but listening to this song reminds me that if my oshi hasnt given up on themselves, i cannot give up on my oshis either.
ive never regretted oshi ing xsoleil and i will love them for the years to come. manifesting another banger this december (if life allows it)!

XSoleil have such lovely voices, especially when they sing all together! Meloco and Doppio have very strong voices, whilst Hex has a very soft voice, with Ver and Kotoka switching between the too!

I would think this song would be difficult to split between 5 people and have it flow well, but you guys did a good job!
I would also like to praise how Hex's voice was used here. I felt like in Hold It Down Hex was kinda just dropped in random places, but here I think he really worked well as a bass foundation (pun intended) to build the higher voices off of. Of course no shade to Hold It Down bc I still love it, but I like how his parts were handled here!
Damn I kinda just went through it first time when I listened to it but now when I come to it again after listening to hold it down I can really feel the difference in the perfect utilisation of each of their strengths. Like they auto tuned a lot of ver's line then I hated it. He's got such a unique classy voice and his singing is always stable without lot of techniques that really helps establish like a base fabric for everyone else to jump up from. Hex is the same. His voice is like the gravity pulling everyone down. And from that dopi, melo and koto acting like the sparklers with their techniques. This cover I think utilizes their skills better than hold it down to be honest. I really expect more from all of them in future!

Pio chan’s voice sounds so good!!!! He improved so much through covers omg 😭I’m proud. Koto n Melo’s singing voices are beautiful as always. They are touching and impressive like art pieces.
