Turtle Island At Fantasi Benoa Bay Nusa Dua Bali || Travel With Siri
After finishing Parasailing ride , we headed towards turtle island tour in a glass bottom boat. It was our first glass bottom boat experience and we expected to see coral reefs , ornamental fishes and marine plants but unfortunately we couldn't get to see any of them through the glass bottom.
We are not satisfied with the glass bottom experience as all we could see is just green water and some small fishes through the glass bottom.
Later the driver has handed over some bread to us to feed the fish but we couldn't get to see any fish outside as well.
It was a good 15 min drive from the shore to Turtle Island.
Upon reaching the turtle island, they introduced us to a guide who took us around to show different types of turtles and even allowed us to hold them.
The guide explained us everything about the growth cycle of the turtles from the time they are hatched upto 100 years old turtles.
Other than turtles , there are some other small animals to see such as monkeys, snakes , bats , owls etc.,
Only thing I got concerned was about few animals that were kept in small cages without much place for them to explore. Hope the authorities could do something to release those animals and set them free in a safe zone.
It was a nice experience to all of us, especially for young children.
