Just got mine installed. I can tell in the driveway hooked on hose my machines are more responsive after pulling the honey comb restrictor! I left the bottom half of air box in for a DIY coolers!!! Gonna get fancy with it. I solo so it won’t be that much of a pain for a cold drink
Added restrictor removal. Can’t believe just by doing these three things how much better the low end is. Top speed is a 4-5 miles better but low end now rocks!!
Just did this to my 2006 Yamaha VX110 deluxe cruiser which I really appreciate!! One more suggestion, before putting on the UNI large air filter, take off throttle body and remove the round metal coil with flat noise screwdriver. My low end now is twice what is was. Also I found out yesterday it also uses more gas.
Did it work well for you? I had the same model before this one and it reached about 60 mph. It probably had some work done prior to me buying it. But this one only reached about 55-56 top.
Top speed 60-61. The take off is a lot quicker. Red model I had would not go over 55. 2nd blue Waverunner (same make, year, model) would reach 65. However all 3 had a quicker take off.
@@LA-yr4bs I'm planning to do the same thing with my this summer on yours,,, you think you have room to play with the impeller to go faster Because probably the computer is limite you RPM right ?

I just bought a 2010 model. About to get it ready for the summer.
I just removed the intake Ribbon and removed airbox too , not the exhaust . Should I? Make a difference?
Super clean install.
Will messing with the air box mess with the waterproofing? I’m worried water will go over the dash and down under the seat and suck up water
I never had any issues.
you can probably get a water proof filter cover if you are worried
I did the same for my waverunner, but I actually lost power. Any suggestions?
I’m so light my 05 hits 59 with me on glass water.
This 2006 looks a lot like my 2011
I just purchased everything you have in here man! How do you like the set up so far?

Any downsides to replacing the air intake like this? The stock box does take up a ton of room for whatever reason.
I never had a problem with it. Worked just fine.
Update video ? How fast is ?

Is there a link for that aluminum pipe??
Where did you get the exhaust kit?
Man seems Amazon doesn’t have that pipe anymore link doesn’t work
Did you ever find another pipe?
