Adirondacks - Great Range Traverse

Adirondacks Great Range Traverse (attempt). One of the hardest hikes there is attempted during one of the worst cold fronts in years. Includes mountains Rooster Comb, Hedgehog, Lower Wolfjaw, Upper Wolfjaw, Armstrong, Gothics, Saddleback, Basin, Haystack, and Marcy. We finished up to Armstrong before bailing due to impending frostbite in the feet.

liner socks, wool socks, plastic bread bag on both feet, another pair of wool socks. Have never had cold feet in the winter up in the High peaks. Great video though! Was this back when you could camp above 3500ft.

Sko Bird we were camped on more than 2 feet of snow, I remember that was more or less the rule
