Someone mentioned this, when he places that bleed on you and the rift starts sucking you in, its a good idea to run away from the rift until the bleed falls off, or else it'll turn that 10 second debuff to 2min (in the video and makes thing a bit more annoying for healers).
^This. It not only buff buff timers, but buff debuff timers as well. VERY crucial information to know because if the healers are ill-equipped, your chance of dying is a little more higher with that dot on you, especially if the meteors aren't being soaked.
Truthfully, melee LB 3 is kind of a waste on the tear, especially if everyone pops their buffs before getting sucked in. He does 5 "sucks" when he tries to pull you in - on the fourth, the tanks can LB 3 instead, which causes it to last a little less than a minute. Everyone should be running away from the center in the same spot to ensure they're in range for tank LB 3 (we had all our members run to the northern edge, for example), and when he does the fifth, nobody will have the bleed debuff. With that defense and no dot on anyone, meteors legitimately do double digit damage, and healers can ignore their healing duties, switch into cleric stance, and DPS the tear as well. It goes down in SECONDS. This isn't something I came up with, saw it in another video (would post the link to give them credit but I'm on my phone at the moment), but it worked like a charm. Also if it makes people feel better, assign players to areas of the arena in order to patrol for balls easier. We found 4 stacks was the most we could survive (no scholar when we cleared, so with a good succor and sacred soil, 5 MAY also be survivable). Another thing to note: if you do accidentally stack ball debuffs, the second ball's explosion (and any other also of the same color afterwards) cause a decent amount of knockback. I found myself able to withstand 2 stacks (this is an i115 bard) of the debuff, so it's not the absolute end of the world if you get two, but really try to avoid that if you can. As for the tank swap - yes, you can literally swap between Sparks! Just provoke him off the MT in the middle of the first cast and pray your healers give you attention. If you have a black mage in the group, Apocatastasis can be of use here, but save it for when he does triple due to the cooldown, and because double really isn't that bad. Hope this also helps!

It was so fun yesterday I did this dungeon. I haven’t done this dungeon in two years so I forgot it. I was helping my friend who is new to the game and we are in the meteor phase. The tank was explaining it and we all wiped. Second time we get there, I died right before the final meteor. Second healer Rez’d me and I was like, let me wait till it hits. Boom, I Rez and we pretty much broke it. I come back and we Rez everyone and wait till we are all healed up and finish the tear and got to the main fight. So freakin easy. So fun. Had to come back to see how to do it because I for the life of me don’t remember and couldn’t remember the fight. I just love your videos so I was hoping you had it and you do!! Thanks for the videos and even keeping the old ones!! :)

Just wiped our party after using LB3 on him as DPS because I thought he was about to die. Got flamed in the chat for not knowing and two of the party members left. I did say I was new to the encounter at the beginning, so I blame them for not telling me :')

Got it first try, although during Meteor-Phase half of our group died (1 tank, the other healer and 2 dds). Somehow we still managed to make it through. It was a hell of a lot of fun :-) Thank you

Before I knew about this fight I referred to Ascians as "Asians". Whenever I read Ascian during story texts I read it as "Asian", just for fun. Now, this, makes it so much better
I think it's very important to wait for the blight debuff to wear off before getting sucked in since taking that debuff as a non-tank is basically instant death when getting hit by a meteor. That means everyone should hug the wall while Nabriales is sucking people in and it will then become very easy to survive the phase.
as a dps I started the duty finder before watching this but instantly found a squad. Didn't have time to watch the guide and ended up dying twice before I got the mechanics down.
Our party did with with popping the tank lb3 before we were sucked in. a 70 second tank lb3 made it manageable for healers to heal without us getting so low it was scary. the Tear dropped pretty fast with all dps popping cooldowns. *i also popped a cheap int potion before entering for a nice dps buff for like... 2mins xD*
I have been trying for 3 days to do this and the tanks just cant seem to catch the Meteor and people have hissy fists about who will do the LB3... what a pain this Trial is to do >
Thanks for the guide! I have 6 different groups at 14 deaths just today for this. Usually tanks not standing under meteor, tank bots, healers not healing, dps blowing LB3 early, or not enough dps.....I think I will put some of this in a macro so I can finish it/2.55 quests.

In 2020 this fight is mostly a joke, so don't believe people who cry about it being hard on DF. Just catch orbs and focus the tear, and he will die as fast as poor Lahabrea. We had a bunch of new people when I was doing it for the first time, and still it was a veeeeeery quick and easy fight.
beat it at one attempt. My recommendation for meteor phase is everyone ignore meteor and dps on the tear while 2 healers constantly use aoe healing, and save lb3 for healers in case of wipe
My thoughts, everyone with good damage mitigation cool downs stay in the center to go to the other world instantly and extend all buffs. If you don't have really good mitigation, Run to the sides to let the Damage up Buff wear off (The red icon). This makes the meteors pretty easy to heal through :)
Also both thanks can go around and soak all meteors since they have sentinel/hallow. Then it is a dps check for just the center meteor coming down which is a LOT longer.
Clay Norrbin the most common issue will be that 1 or or both tanks don't ever put up CD's before they go in the portal or 1 tank follows the other tank on same meteor. I had so many wipes b/c of those 2 examples. But its only the 2nd day of new content about another 2 weeks this fight will be a joke. But yea the best combo for meteor grabs is Sprint with CD's. I literally had 2m of sprint and 50secs of HallowGround boy did I feel like a god lol
question, you guys keep mentioning "cool downs " and I believe every single skill in this game has a cool down, so why don't you just call it "skills" or "abilities"? is it kind of weird? saying that will lead people to think that there are non-cool down skills
"Spark... This does 1 to 2k damage to a tank[...]" Right when the video shows a nice 3566 damage on a 9.1k HP PLD with Shield Oath :D. This is a main storyline trial. Groups should expects i100-i110 tanks to come. Even with Rampart, a i100 PLD won't survive a Triple Spark. At some point, the boss does one Triple Spark followed by a Spark, then a Triple Spark. Even Sentinel can't handle that much because of it's short duration. So, really, here, the life of the tank rely only on the Healer's reactivity (ie: spamming heals, stone skin or whatever). Especially if the PLD wants to keep HG for the meteor phase. So, yeah, Sparks are real tank killers.
when he disappears and creates that portal that sucks all players into that other white arena, everyone should run and keep running away from the portal so the debuff he puts on all players wears off right before you get into that other place.

Oohh! I had thought that we needed to alternate between the black and red balls as a group, not individually, so I was thinking, "How am I supposed to know which color was done just a split second ago?" I just ran around like a chicken with its head cut off.
This fight is very healing intensive, actually. Between Dark IV and Quake III, Nabriales hits the party hard. Two SCHs will have a rough time keeping party alive in this fight.
Why do you want to use cooldowns BEFORE you go in? Why is that so important? You can't do it after? And what does "cooldown" refer to? I think people are using it differently than what I'm used to, to me "cooldown" means the amount of actual time it takes for a skill to be reused i.e. Rouse has a 60 second cooldown.
Most classes, if not all, have some set of abilities that give some benefit/buff and have an extended cooldown (30 secs or more perhaps). So what she's saying is pop all your buff abilities before going in. According to this video, she says do it before because the time remaining on your buffs is multiplied by ten as you go through the rift... so if you buff once you're already in, you don't get that benefit.
Andrew Boeger ohhhhhh. Mizzteq is great because her guides are so short but sometimes I think it comes at the cost of clarity. I legit thought that any buffs popped while inside the aetheric rift would have their durations extended, not just what you walked in with. Maybe just wasn't paying attention. It’s amazing because I tanked the meteors along with other tank but the Dps squad kept joining in instead of attacking the add. Then they literally blamed us for not using the limit break. The tank limit break.
Honestly thank God had a great team 1st time running, they must have watched your guide. Minus the one DPS who wiped entirely back to back and wanted to blame us healers. Well, what we did was running away from the portal until the debuff ran off, it gives a way easier time without it hitting you while on that phase.
I think I had to queue up for this thing like 4 times before finally getting a group that could get past the tear.

haha I nicknamed it super saiyan phase. Good point about if the tank messes up. I was running with my tank on Teamspeak so it wasn't bad.

Odin doesn't really need any sort of guide. I don't believe there's any tricks to him. It's just a very, very strictly tuned DPS/Heal/Tank check.

Jesus died and on the third day He rose from the grave. Get right with God today don't wait. Once you die after that comes the judgement. Hebrews 9:27 It's the most important thing you can do. You must be born again John 3:7 If you repent and trust in what Christ did on the cross it shows that you've been born again or born spiritually. Right now you're dead in your sins and you can't see the beauty of Jesus Christ but after you trust in Christ all the things you hate about God like obeying him, serving Him, loving Him and others, reading the bible, praying and going to church you will love to do those things because God changes your heart. That's how you know you have been born again and forgiven. Please think long about this and ask me any questions you have as this is the most important thing you can ever think of in your life. An eternity in hell (darkness and a lake of fire the bible describes it, with weeping and gnashing of teeth) or an eternity out of that place and into the loving arms of God who is infinitely glorious, has infinite knowledge and has infinite power to do all that He pleases.
