- In 1978, gifted writer Ken Auletta profiled for Esquire the pugnacious attorney Roy Cohn whom he called the "personification of evil." Cohn died in 1986 discredited and disbarred. Knew Roy Cohn a bit through informal dinners usually in The East Village. Charming but I think had low real self esteem issues like Trump. There's bluster and there is real self esteem.
All bullies are cowards. Very unhappy people but a honed persona.
Cohn always had very attractive well built young men with him. May or may not have paid them.
Roy was friends with Lou Katz owner of several well attended gay bars and restaurant.
