- This is a yard sale?! I'd say it was definitely more like a small version of the Palm Springs Vintage Market that runs once a month in Palm Springs (minus the hotter than the hinges of hell summer months) but we certainly weren't complaining! Watch to the end for our very first "trunk haul" of all the goodies we purchased!

Some spaces don’t have price stickers, you have to just ask if you’re interested in buying something.
I think the rock art with the eyeball was kind of an Alice in Wonderland thing. She's looking in and the caterpillar was there or it's just a 60s acid trip lol. Edit..OH EMM GEE THOSE RUGS

I feel like I am watching my life. Thought I would never like this style again but I do. As a young child it was a big deal to take a car ride to Palm Springs then on the way home stopping off at Hadley Farms.

@Mid-Century Wasted I have a small dish for the oven (not a bowl) of the one you found. I am sure that I paid 10 or 20 pence. I did find an AJA snowflake bowl which I didn't pay more than £1 but it had no lid. I have more small dishes for the oven but I don't know the names of the patterns

Yes, this was last year. Modernism week just started yesterday out here and the flea market is tomorrow. I’m not sure if they’re having this yard sale event again this year because we’re only here for this weekend. It’s an absolutely spectacular time if you’re ever able to go!
@@MidCenturyWasted I live a little over an hour from palm springs so just to be sure you're saying there's a swap meet tomorrow? If so I'll have to look it up for directions I LOVE MCM and not so MCM just fun to get out and putz around.
@@gabeee4332 yes! The Palm Springs Vintage Market is tomorrow 2/19. They always have it the first Sunday of the month but during modernism week they have a second one. They have a website so if you just do a Google search it’ll show up for you 😁

Thank you for being so judgmental about my relationship. No I am not being mean to him. We are snarky and sarcastic to each other and our relationship is very fun and wonderful. We love each other dearly. There is absolutely no reason to pass judgment on people you don’t know personally, especially if you are the type of person without a sense of humor.
