This song, known by various titles such as "Canto della Russia Bianca," "Canto dei Russi Bianchi," or "Canto dell'Armata Bianca," is a beautiful piece, as performed by the musical group "Contea." Regardless of the title, it is based on the melody of the famous Russian song called "Polyushko-polye" or "Polyushko polye." Consequently, this version is often referred to as the "Italian Polyushko-polye" or "Polyushko-polye Italian version." Composed in 1985, it is an Italian rendition of "Poliyuska Polye," with the original version composed by Lev Konstantinovich Knipper. This rendition was used as a military song in Italy, for instance, in the "Folgore" division.

Yeah, the Tsar's rule was bad, but not because they were evil (wich they totally were) but because their rule impeded development and assimilation. They tried forces russification, didn't work for them, they could not establish folk representation, meaning that every single blow was aimed at the Tsar's head for every single mishap in the entire empire. In a way they they were in a bit of a pickle.
