Thank you... pray and ask the lord what would happen if He did that today. It has nothing to do with a prophet what is written “Ananias, why has Satan filled your heart to lie to the Holy Spirit and keep back part of the proceeds from the field?". It was Peter that asked and Peter was no prophet :) Again now pray ask the lord what would happen if that happened today. Do you know how many believers lie to the holy spirit? We should get on our face and repent and praise Him for His grace and mercy.
Thanks for your comment. Peter was the leader of the church at the time and filled role of Prophet just like the prophets of old. I understand prophets are not seen as important in today's world (with the exception of LDS and NAR) but they were important in the ancient world.
