I think it's a take on having a relationship with someone who has major depression. How normal people can get over a fight or small words easily when someone with depression has to fight really hard and struggle with it for a longer time... And often want to curl up, away from the world, and die.
Kristi Crum I totally agree! But it also shows how he loves and understands the person. He knows she will get over it even tho she can't know that she will.
I know this is two years old. But someone else had a great perspective. Its about being there for someone who is depressed. Not technically being able to say or do anything for them but *being* there. "I don't mind, but I'm not surprised you do. I feel fine, but i know the same does not apply to you. So I guess that ill curl up and die too."
I used to have depression like I used to always try and commit suicide. So I can tell you it will get better. Just hold on and stay strong. We all have bad days but the good days make them better. Bad days are just what make us human. I know depression makes you focus on only the darkness but you're missing the beauty around you.

In the beginning it appears that he lied or did something similar just to get to know everything about her. I think the girl has some sort of demon she can't get rid of and he wants to help her, but she feels bad because she loves him too but doesn't want him to "waste" his time on her. So when he says he'll "I guess I'll curl up and die too" it's a way of saying he'll give up everything for her and to help her and be with her. :) Sorry if I'm wrong. This is just my interpretation.
Well I think that he did something wrong to a person or they were in a bad place together. But now he feels better and is able to move on but the other person isn't ready to. They're still upset and just can't really get themselves together. So he's like I can't let you go through this alone seeing as it's my fault so I'll sit In the mess with you or give up on life with you.
