- This patient took a bad fall two days ago and fell on his back. He’s been unable to turn his head or take a deep breath. He comes in today for his first adjustment and had excellent results. He can now move his head and take a deep breath without pain. If he had gone to the doctor, he would’ve been prescribed anti-inflammatories and muscle relaxers and sent home. This guy is good, but--in my experience--he needs to check for any pelvic problems, before working on the dorsals or C-spine subluxations. With a lower ilium on the right, I suspect R Sacroiliac involvement. If the pelvic stuff is not handled, the upper subluxations are likely to recur pretty quickly. He's absolutely right about icing on the neck.

Why didn't you do a cervical adjustment? Was it not needed?
I did adjust his neck, just not with a rotary move because he had severe muscle spasms and pain.
Bet his being wacky on a swing are done!
