  • C1351-STACK: Large flight case ball corner with interlocking cut-outs
    L3000-7: Interlocking case stacking latch
    Our innovative coupling system for stacking flight cases uses special interlocking cut-outs, enabling multiple cases to stack and lock without slippage.
    The self-locking ball corners locate each other quickly and only require a single universal model instead of older male + female systems. The latches are designed to fasten the cases together once coupled so they cannot come free, even in transit

    It would be logical to extend this line with hardware to make a wheel board to connect to the bottom of a case. I need a flexible stacking system that provides flexibility in choosing different bottom cases depending on system setup and build order. Maybe use this extra hardware as well to make a pallet based stacking base depending on trucking or shipping transport mode.

      Hi there, thank you for your comment. We feel this is achievable with our current range of case and crating products on our website (www.penn-elcom.com/).
      If you would like to discuss other options available and if we can help you create a more flexible stacking system, please feel free to reach out via email or phone your local depot to discuss further.

      I do not agree that my goal is achievable by current products. I do like the c1351/l3000 solution. What also would be a truly innovative solution would be products that would allow to build flight cases in eurobox style (en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Euro_container) that would be inter stack with the well known plastic variants. We love the standard size of the eurobox but for the more heavy or expensive equipment we need the sturdiness of a flight case. We would need a top profile with a protruding top profile pointing up much like a slamlid profile but with a 2 sided slot. Maybe c0675/30 corner would maybe be usable. And for the bottom I’m not entirely sure if it should be a special profile or just some extra wooden corners at the underside of the case.

      @@PennElcom Since you showed lifting the top and bottom box coupled using this L3000-7. Safety wise, what is the max. load capacity of this stacking latch? how far can those black ABS/nylon catch hold?

    HI This is Randy From Omega Case, Quick Question. Can these be used with the Large male/female corners?

    • @dongb8639
      @dongb8639 4 года назад

      I think you can, if the distance/gap between coupled case is the same as using the C-1351 stack, guesstimate, around 4mm-4.5mm. But stability wise, you will have some lateral oscillations if using male/female corners due to the concave shape, unlike using the C-1351 ball corners which was designed to suit this L3000-7. An alternative old school option would be an overlatch.
