You can do it easier hold one finger on first fret 2nd string and another on second fret third string, then go 1,3,4,2,2(open),3. Then just repeat that.
What the fuck do people mean by hold down the strings? No matter how lightly or forcefully I press them they never make the right sound, even if tuned perfectly. I don't understand guitars at all (I play piano if you couldn't guess)
