It affected his thoughts and makes him cling onto other people like he did to Belos, thus the events with Wilbur, dream, techno etc. After being taken in by Wilbur he develops a loud, and boisterous personality in order to cope with the fact hes in a strange land and he cant find any of his friends. He becomes friends with Tubbo because he reminds him of (Willow? Or Gus) He keeps pranking, and acting 'annoying' to test the waters and see how long until they eventually want him gone. Like how children who have been hurt will act out to test the boundaries, how far they can push before they get punished. Eventually he accepts that he cant return to his friends or the boiling isles. The wars happen all the cannon stuff yadda yadda, he got too attached and now we're here Jeez honest he needs therapy Anyways that's my interpretation I guess
