So true about not caring about team first content, they don't have those legacy players/teams like Optic and T1 have that bring fans back no matter what. Because as I'm sur you know Optic went through something similar a couple years ago and they're making a good comeback now.
ESports went downhill when it became mainstream. All the boomers and posers like this disgraced CEO tainted what once was niche entertainment. No one asked for Snoop Dog's, Stranger things cringe actors or any other clowns that don't have a clue about this world.
36:43 when rich's voice cracks because he's so unbelievably cracked up about being proven right in the most egregious way possible. That, my friends, is the sound of pure joy
At a certain point if you get offered that kind of money when the team you just won a major with tries to lowball you, I don’t even blame him. If the money is true then Zonic is getting the fucking bag
Zonic deserves to get his bag to be fair not gonna hold it against him. He’s been underpaid and lowballed for years. Astralis didn’t give him the bag to be fair.
@@moma026able no but he’s someone who deserves to get the money he’s worth as he’s been solid and deserves to be appreciated for his work and paid his worth.
as a Quake player I will always be fascinated with the fascination of doing a 360 scope with gamepad. Someone created a business out of the the least visually impressive cod gimmick.
The people who created the business we're the kids that we're trickshoting. Clearly there was an audience otherwise the suits wouldn't of come in to make a quick buck and destroy the brand.
Bruh, Faze going down like this is kinda sad.... like, the normal people in the org that actually fucking play games (and don't just flex money all day & make boring vlogs) are just caught in the crossfire of this mess. Like Faze Jev. The real lesson here is if you built up any company: never ever fucking go public. Wall street people didn't build the company, you did. They don't know shit about expanding your operation (if you dont have a traditional company).... See exhibit A: Faze Clan. 11:40 Hit the nail on the head. You see this all the time with people pretending to be part of the FGC and "competed" just because they played street fighter with their siblings a few times on their snes before forgetting about the game/console all-together and moving on. These people never cared.
You should take a look at the new 10-Q they released in September. They've had to raise money by selling a bunch of shares to a hedge fund, and are saying they have enough money now to keep going for another 12 months. A few of Lee Trink's last best shits from the 10-Q are the average revenue per youtube subscriber, which is a kind of a gross revenue per fan metric, which went from $0.52 in the six months ending June 30th of 2022 to $0.19 for the six months ending June 30th 2023, a $14M net loss, and my personal favorite, significant sponsors, which they define as any sponsorship over half a million. For the six months ending June 30th 2022, they had 11 significant sponsors. For the six months ending June 30th 2023, they had nine significant sponsors. It really gets good in the three month periods. For Q2 2022, they had 10 significant sponsors. For Q2 2023, they had FIVE. Nine for the whole first half. Five in Q2.
I dunno Richard, I think Stranger Things had 2 or 3 good seasons and the first half of season 4 was actually fantastic. I agree with most of the esports stuff though.
You always boldly enter the ring as the antonym of mincing words ❤️
tay zonday goat wow glad youre here too
Last place I would’ve expected to see this legend, but a welcome one
Tay are you a competitive Counter Strike fan?!?!
*He moves closer to the microphone to speak the truth
Hold on I have to fart don’t tell anybody
Damn i was hoping to buy more NFTs from Faze
just summoned my inner Jake lucky and bought 10 jerseys, 1 for each flavor of water that I drink
You're the GOAT. Love you rich. This gonna pair well with a drive this morning. Fuck em.
Hope you're doing well man
rumors say he hit a 360 bunnyhopping noscope on his way out
Honestly I’m glad that Faze will get new ownership. Sick roster with an org who genuinely doesn’t care about them
Guess he got fazed out wahey
I’ll manage FaZe for $80k a year, that should clear up a bunch of their financial issues

I can't help but hear Queen's chorus of "Another one bites the dust"
faze up till my days up
Faze is def helping push the industry forward, too bad that it's being pushed off a cliff
Can’t wait for the money to completely dry up so we get Faze Boris Kwezi
As Dupreeh's deagle name stated: Faze down ass up
I will never forget the "faze the fuck up" bit. It was so embarrassing It scarred my soul..

Another day another Ceo

HEEEEEEERE WE GO!
I have no idea what level of Asscancer should I post to get banned by RL
He got terminated by a fazed plasma rifle in a 40 watt range
It really is small scale swindling
gotta buy them faze stickers while they still sell them B^)

The fact esport teams have ceos is wild to me. I get that its a brand but sheesh lmao
They just need to go back to NFT rugpulls and hosting a rigged skin casino then all will be good
RIPBOZO One less grifter in esportz
sound
I always thought of Faze as kind of the gymbros of gaming, never interested me personally.
"He is a redditor and a journalist"
-Presumably grown adult posting posting on HLTV
He looks just like what you would expect 😂😂😂
I couldn't care less about faze, but I'll watch rich comment on them booting their boomer ceo for 45 minutes
I do not ‘respect the bag’
Christ I've never seen the CEO before, he looks like as much of a tool as the OG owners lmao. I guess it makes sense xD
For a sec I thought it was a variant of the chad meme.
Support Comment.
Lee Trink got that Nazi propaganda rizz.
Bro, you would have to be literally Jesus to execute on all his roles effectively
Of course little man owns a pitbull 😂😂
