    I love that even though you now have a wonderful new saw. That after glue up. you still use the hand saw to trim down the handle. Another great build sir.

      😁 I still feel that I have more control with the hand saw. I didn’t want to take of too much. It's so easy to go wrong with the new saw. So far I mostly do rough cuts with it.

    Again nice work, as they say keep it simple . Even though it’s not as simple as it looks, you still have to know what your doing

    For cracks like that try sanding using superglue and wet/dry paper. If you catch the crack before any finish you will create a superglue/wood dust slurry which will fill it.

      Sevgili Mehmet, Türkiye'deki deprem haberlerini takip ettim.

    Hello Vahid. Great knife build, my brother. Are you still working on forging blades? I hope to see you build the entire knife soon.

      Hi Rick, thank you. I seem to have hard times finding the time to b in the forge nowadays. It's still on my list of skills to pick up.

      @@VahidCullsberg Hey Vahid. May we be to the praise of HIS glory today. I haven't had time or place to forge lately either. We have moved from the woods to the edge of town. Still country but in the city limits. I will have to talk to our land lord about what I can do here. Haven't had available time anyway. How are your wife and son doing? I pray that all is well. Yours in Prayer, Rick Trumbo

    What a beautiful bushcraft knife Vahid, a question about the glue youre using for everything haha. Is that glue for wood? Is that really that strong for that purpose? Many regards Peter.

    • @VahidCullsberg
      @VahidCullsberg  Год назад +1

      Hi Peter, thank you. Yes I have mostly used a wood glue of the Dana Lim brand from Denmark. I use it when I peen together a knife handle as I think the peening itself is quite sufficient as it presses together everything. I'm currently experimenting with 2 component epoxy glue mixed with bone dust to give it more bone colour. If I didn't peen the handle then I wouldn't use the wood glue. I would chose something stronger.
