Me too, there's something so special and kind of haunting about that movie. Just tragic that Christopher Reeve would die prematurely in such sad circumstances. His real life story makes the movie even more poignant for me.

@@glamdolly30 I'm making a point to watch the movie.
Who doesn't recall watching "Superman" for the first time? I was never a fan of
comic heroes but that film blew me away. That Mr. Reeve would befall such a
tragedy is shocking because he was well liked in Hollywood a truly positive hero,
unlike his costar where scandals seemed to follow her. I can't recall her name for
the moment. As soon as I leave this page, I will.

    • @glamdolly30

@@davidpahlka6301 Ah yes, you're referring to Canadian actress Margot Kidder. Winning the Lois Lane role opposite Christopher Reeve's sublime (and never to be matched) 'Superman', was surely one of acting history's all-time luckiest, of lucky breaks. She must have spent the rest of her life pinching herself!
If ever an actor was meant for a role, it was Christopher Reeve as 'Superman'. He was astonishing - the guy fully embodied and breathed life into a superhero. That takes talent! Reeve's powerful, natural qualities of charisma and humility, meant he convinced both as Superman, and his geeky alter ego Clark Kent.
Christopher Reeve deserved a leading lady of similar quality, but was badly let down with the woefully miscast Miss Kidder.
It's strange producers got that key piece of casting so wrong, when every other important element of the British-made 'Superman' movies was so brilliantly pulled off. The special effects, decades before CGI, were fantastic.
Regardless of the Lois Lane boo-boo, the movies endure as a major element of Christopher Reeve's legacy. For so many, he IS Superman, and always will be. Not a bad epitaph!

Regarding The Passion... cold temperatures do not cause pneumonia. The actor getting chilly did not "almost cause him to get pneumonia". How do you "almost get pneumonia"? That's like saying someone almost got herpes. Or almost got cancer. You either have pneumonia or you don't. You can't almost get it. As for the lightning strikes.. you can clearly see that they are filming on mountain tops and elevated terrain. They also would be the only spot on that elevated terrain where there would be metal light poles, camera rigging, sound rigging, electrical cabling lying around, etc. There is nothing strange about people standing on a hill top holding metal poles in their hands and getting hit by lightning.

    Great video! Thanks.
Something interesting to note about the "Deadly Double" dice game~
The photo of Roger Craig is wrong; That is the Roger Craig from the Dallas County Sheriff's office, shortly after the assassination of JFK, from the mid 60's!
Another very strange coincidence is the date of the ad in the New Yorker Magazine, for the "Deadly Double" dice game:
    November 22nd, 1941...
That's the date of the JFK assassination on Nov 22, 1963! Roger Craig gave sworn testimony that the rifle found on the sixth floor of the Texas School Book Depository bldg was a MAUSER; and NOT a Carcano! Craig had served in the Army, so he definitely knew one rifle from another.
The Warren Commission changed it, and omitted it to fit their narrative framing Oswald for JFK.
Roger Craig was fired; harassed, harranged, followed, surveilled, and shot in the years following JFK's murder, but survived, only to supposedly have killed himself in 1975!
    But, like I said-
that's not the Roger Craig who invented the dice game!
