It was good that we managed to get rid of a lot of deadwood off the wage bill and we have some good young players with a lot of potential. We still have a few I would get rid of but realistically it was never all going to be done in one window. It will be interesting to see what Clement does. I hope it goes well now.
100% agree. Would have been nice to move on the likes of Tav, Dowell, Hagi etc but it can’t all be done in one window. We were very close to winning the league last year and this year with the gaffer having his own players we are in with a decent shout

Not a great deadline day and the board have either lied to the manager or the manager lied to us about signing more players then players going out
What should be of concern is the elephant at the training ground , the Academy , how old and these decades have produced say one talent a year I don`t think so and this abysmal performance is as bad on the east end of the city . Not even one Talent per year dear oh dear in more than one sense , you would think Academies were a bad idea until you look at Ajax when the great Ajax won three European cups their ground was like Cappielow .
Ajax sold their players after European success and built a stadium and a youth academy. They realised that developing youth and selling for profit was the future. And they sold a player for €100m to Man United last season. Rangers never learned and don’t sell their best players for good fees. Rangers wait until the players are too old, get bored, want out, and then they sell.c
Scottish football letting us down tbh, no league to play in doesn't help, however we don't give youngsters a chance due to the pressures of being an old firm club. And needing to win trophies. Nowhere to play is main problem tho.
@@billyfiz That`s no excuse , every big club has pressure to lift trophies , Ajax have two other big clubs to contend with , Rangers one , academies produce players or it doesn`t The old-firm fail massively

@@stub-dton It’s a shame he didn’t play against Kiev instead of Scott Wright. We might have made it past Kiev’s and got that additional £5m in prize money. Then a crack at the next round, and the chance to enter the group stages. It will never sit well with me that Hagi was scoring a hat-trick for the reserve side on the same day Scott Wright was shocking again and Rangers get dumped out of Europe.

@@grantmcroberts4089 Obviously your standard is Scott Wright and getting knocked out against Kiev. I’d rather player our best team, Hagi over Wright, and maybe we would have qualified. We will never know because our strongest eleven wasn’t played on the day.

Couldn’t be happier about CANTwell leaving. A player in their somewhere but his attitude is horrendous. This isn’t the first club that he’s been labelled a bad egg.
