Just a word of caution....I had a dog that was a chewer and it chewed a lamp wire and that was the death of my dog. It was a terrible day. Please cover the wires that show I would hate anything to happen to your precious dog.

Listen I know Nina can afford to take care of the door & other things. I would be less worried too if I had the means. Maybe this is just for views but idc, this teaches me how to be a mom that has fun. My mom wasn't like this. I love her but id rather have fun with my kids sometimes, it would be priceless.

Also as advice idk if you guys do it but when you take Bentley outside for her business do it on a leash and if you designate an area and always take her there on a leash she’ll associate that spot as her bathroom rather than play time. Off leash for play time and eventually even when she’s out for play time she’ll go to that spot to go bathroom. Makes clean up easier as well. But dogs also like routines. They like to be on a schedule basically. Which you’re great at so idk why I’m even saying this. You’ll do great. Ur now a doggy mama. And I’m so happy . THIS IS NOT HATE COMMENT OR ANYTHING. I’m just sharing info. :) again.. love you !

I don't know much about construction work...but wouldn't it be cheaper and more efficient to call a professional to just break/uninstall the lock than to damage the entire door and surrounding wall? I see that the hinges are visible on the outside -- maybe there are special tools to unscrew them and remove the door and put it back together once the lock problem is sorted out?
