    The curve point when you're trying to find an inaccurate way of describing it. I just thought of one, You could say the direction of the line at that point is like if the line was a road which can go up and down and side to side. But the direction of the road at that exact point is based on the direction of the wheels of the car and which way they have to face to stay on the road.

    Good one... but, while working on a plane, how can I snap, on the active plane, to a point on another plane, relative to the plane, I am working on?

      too hard to understand what you're asking, but on the side panel to the left under "Features" is a list of your planes. you can click on them to select the plane or planes. you can also view normal on the selected plane and then select your object.
