@bonniebryan2541 sometimes people don't really care about their hair ends condition and it's more important for them to extend the dreadlocks, as this case. But if you you want to save the ends in good condition then there are more safety way to attach - instead of crocheting you should weav the braid from your hair end and the extension, then cover it with synthetic hair accurately:)
