My heart skipped a beat when you flawlessly flourished the capital "L" at the end of the passage. Such beautiful penmanship; you make it look effortless although I know it's anything but!
I'm a lefty, been using the straight holders for slightly over a year. Works great for writing, but it seems that I have to wait for inks to dry before I do simple flourishes. And as the number of lines increases, it gets harder to flourish while ink is still wet. I'm currently trying to change to using a right-oblique, with the paper turned to the right almost 90deg. According to John DeCollibus, using a right-oblique allows for greater freedom when it comes to flourishes. It's going to take quite a while it seems, to retrain a new grip entirely.
Stunningly beautiful work. I applaud your craft and ability.
this video is so ASMR.

What do you recommend as a practice (types of drills) to become this fluent in calligraphy?

Such a satisfying video. What kind of notepad did you use for this one?
This is Crown Mill laid paper

I've been doing some calligraphy but I wonder how I'd use that pen since I'm left handed.
You don't need to use the oblique penholder if you're left handed..
