When artists record they usually break down each recording from 4 to 8 bars with a full breath of oxygen on each recording until the song is done. Makes for a perfect recording and you can pinpoint exactly what you want to do with your voice. when an artist does a true one take, its all recorded in one go then filmed. You dont hear breathing because there is none.

@@JEllis2107 trust me man, i get how it feels when an artist totally changes from what they used to be, i've seen it in so many different genres. but you have to realize, that youtube is a platform for artists to get out there and make it now, and that's exactly what he was doing. he was putting in all of that work in his bedroom because he was working to be here where he is today, it was all a part of his vision. he's not a "sellout" because he didn't want to sit in his bedroom for his whole life. he's still same old AK, but he's actually getting out there now. it's definitely a good thing brotha. he's not gonna forget where he came from.

That was kinda my thought too, this could perhaps have done without the second repeat of the hook if that makes sense. Then again that may have also made it feel a little too short, at least in this pieces case, so its a bit hard to say.

I just think that there are different factors for an artist when making songs. I get that u are saying that he sound generic with His more melodic stuff but u cant compare AK to Lil rappers.. he Still uses his ability to sing in songs and not use autotune.
