Thanks for covering this! For those that are Worried about breaking clips, this method will definitely break things, especially around the net break bracket holes. It's a really weird design on those weird upper pieces. You have to simultaneously move it forward while pushing it to the outside while also slotting in the net brackets from below. It's essentially impossible.
I'm glad the video is helpful to someone. I also struggled with that part the first time I did disassembly and assembly. I'm sorry that the video is of poor quality, I recorded it a long time ago. I will try to re-record all these vehicles and make it better. I already did a new video for the B6 but the sedan. ruclips.net/video/YL2R090KBKU/видео.html I'm waiting for the wagon to come for reparation, so there will be a new video. Thanks for the comment. Greetings
Thanks a lot for sharing. I need to do this. Not because my headliner ist hanging. My sunroof is leaking. Pretty sure ist is because the drains in the back become loose. 😖 How long does it take to disassemble the whole thing?
Do you rlly need to remove those side trims for the headliner to come off or is it just your way of doing it bcs I saw one vid where he didnt need to remove colum trims
The way I do it is the right way of dismantling. The side plastics form a frame around the headliner and it is very difficult to remove the headliner without removing them, especially when you are working alone. Maybe it's possible as you looked, but there is a risk that something will break or that the headliner will be damaged. This is an old video, of poor quality. I will make a better video as soon as the B6 arrives for repair. Greeting
On wagon, you don't really need to. Especially the front ones. Middle ones you have to but those are screwed at the back of the car under the back ones, and it's difficult to access this screw without removing them completely.
Hi, the thicker part around front of sunroof, is that only held in with clips that you are using flat screwdriver on? very detailed so far and thats only part where I am stuck as it seems very thick and solid there?
That part around the sunroof hold only the metal clips. Feel free to apply pressure with a flat screwdriver because they are strong, and if they twist, they are easy to correct when you take out the headliner.
@@VDEdition1 thank you very much. It looked like it was stuck to the edge but i see its just those clips all the way around. Thank you so much for this

The headliner can be dismantled in less than an hour. As for the further repair, it all depends on what it is.. Good luck with the works!
Thank you man!

Separated by Avant but which remix??
Amazing video btw
Remix by Cloonee? Haven't made a comparison yet but it's my best guess
Which headliner fabric did you use to match the Platinum interior color?
I have multiple shades of headliner material
with a sponge so i used the closest shade :D
@@VDEdition1 do you sell head liner fabric may i ask ,, can i purchase it any where in Europe thank you
What size material you need for this
2 meters of material is needed for the wagon.
Is this the same on the b7?
It is basically the same principle.
