Im convinced the answer to everything is just use velocity baton with attrition orbs ngl. Half burst on any clone, even the wrong one during setup can spawn an orb, and it wont kill the clone. With recuperation, you can heal off the clones while scanning. Im sure it can save hunters sustain issue by having 1 on with 2 surges and powerful attraction to grab from a range. Theres a couple of class item combos i would consider as well
Very honestly an attrition orb Velocity Baton with a class time combo of maybe Spirit of Assassin and Synthocep would clear downstairs. I personally don’t have either of those so I just went with Assassin’s Cowl to get the healing and invis. Great suggestion though!
I agree, been running velocity baton + the call when running for the last boss over Lost signal just because of that. I have a bad roll but it has attrition orbs. It has helped me stay alive super often. At this point I never die in the rooms downstairs, but occasionally in the boss room because of lightning. Baton allows to just print orbs for when needed though so thats super useful. I always kill couple of clones in the middle with it just in case.

That’s correct! I used regular Assassin’s Cowl for healing and invis as I don’t have the good combinations on the class item yet. Just had to shoot a few more bullets 😂
