  • Blake Resnick is the founder and CEO of BRINC Drones, a Seattle based company that’s trying to change how law enforcement and first responders use drones. As these flying devices become more common over the U.S., questions on data, privacy, and use will continue to evolve while businesses try to leap into this emerging market.

@@rickym7380helicopters aren't used often only for high risk in counters where the cost is justifiable. Helicopters are expensive to keep airborne. Drones are cheap and you can have multiple for the price of a chopper.
Plus drones record everything with amazing quality that could and will likely be paired with AI to analyze it all.
I much rather have a Vietnam vet piolet a chopper once in a while than any random officer or subcontractor with training to fly multiple drones around just to check on "known areas" or "suspicious activities." A regular chopper was only called when they knew there was a problem or extremely likely to be a problem real soon.
It's all good early on till things start going sideways.

I see a future where AI powered drones have facial-recognition software, bullhorns, badges, are armed and their footage can be submitted as evidence in court. 😳
