Thank you. Yes, you could incorporate them on opposing edges of a square or rectangular project, leaving the middle which creates a unique channel if that makes sense. I'll make a video in the future to show! Thanks for the idea.
The firings should still be the same. Do you have a programmable controller on your porcelain kiln? If its just dials, it can be hard to get the right speed and temperature without watching the whole process. Start with firing small jewelry size pieces as the program doesn't need to be as slow. Let me know if you want me to post a schedule for you.
Hi, I have a question. I saw a video from Applied Science about making glass and he said that a newly forming glass (a melting mixture of base constituents, e.g., alkali carbonates, lime, silica, boric acid, alumina, etc.) will stick to just about every surface except platinum and that it can corrode and/or dissolve effectively all refractory materials to some degree or another. Is this also true of already-formed glass that is being re-melted in the fusing process? Thanks.
Great question! With the glass I use, as long as there is a barrier from the kiln shelf or mold, the glass won't stick. I use something called bullseye thin fire paper and Boron Spray for molds.
Love the result!
Awesome !! Have lots of scrap to play with just like that !! Will keep watching for what else you have in store for us !! Thanks for sharing !! 🙏🏻😊
Sweet! Yeah it's fun to find new ways to use the leftovers. I'll be doing a potmelt soon too which is another great scrap use.
Fabulous result. Looking forward to experimenting with my scrap glass

Wow, it turned into an amazing piece... Bravo!!!!! 👍
New subscriber 😊💕💕💕
WAY COOl!! THANK you for sharing!
Wow. What a great channel!! You have a new subscriber. And tonight I’m going to go check out your other videos!! ❤️
Excellent! Thank you for the support!
Gorgeous that would look awesome to hand on a wall
I definitely enjoy seeing more ideas around how to use up scrap. Any ideas on using the rolled edges we all seem to end up with.

Very cool! Cant wait to see more!!!!!
Experiment suggestion:
Can you fuse glass decoratively to a ceiling fan replacement globe?
Yes good idea! I think I have just the thing to film!
Slump a woven bowl with ragged edges. Where the tips , corners, edges arent curled out but stay straight like a handkerchief
Very cool!
Super! Super!
Would be neat to see thay piece heated again just a little hotter causing a little more melting. Interesting idea for scrap though.
AWESOME!!!!
Love it!
Could you put India Ink on clear, let it dry then cap with more clear and fuse it without losing the color of the India Ink?
What is the firing schedule? Thanks. what a beautiful sculpture
Loving the Experiment series, could you do one about inclusions, I would like to include wire into my glass is it possible?
Thanks! Yes I will work on that one next!
What would the firing schedule be for glass using a porcelain kiln?

Where did you find your board, insulation? I really like what you are doing.😊
What is the firing schedule you used for this experiment #1
What firing schedule did you use for this project
Make waves 🌊
Love it! Great idea.
Can you fuse ceramic glaze with glass?
Not that I know of. Glass has a specific compatibility and the only other material I use is glass enamels, though not all of them are food safe.
wow that is cool how do u display it?
Not sure yet, although now my idea for this is to make a bigger one I can incorporate into a fountain! Stay tuned as I will post it once I create it.

I'd like to see glass made into money(or gold :)
I already do that by selling all my work! The alchemy is amazing!
360p? in 2021?
Yup, I didn't realize until it was already posted. All my videos now are in 1080.
