Dinakdakan is a popular appetizer or pulutan (food served with alcoholic drinks) often enjoyed in social gatherings. Dinakdakan is similar to another Filipino dish called sisig but with some regional variations.
The main ingredients in dinakdakan typically include grilled or boiled pig's ears, pig's face, or pork belly. These meat parts are diced into small pieces and mixed with chopped onions, green onions, and sometimes red chili peppers for added heat. The dish is seasoned with mayonnaise, calamansi (a citrus fruit similar to lime), ground black pepper, oyster sauce and soy sauce which gives it a tangy and savory flavor.
