We use a rice cooker to boil it with spices and a few stones in it and boil it for about 10 minutes, after that we do a stone massage.. it feels very pleasant, comfortable on the body
What is the recommended temperature for the water/stones before applying them to the body? Could I dispense with the cold water bowl, if I had the right temp to start? And, can you recommend a type of thermometer to put in the heater basin?
@@ericsaylor5722 you can do so, however if u use water which seems to be to hot, the stone will, even after cooling have a greater Temperature inside and therefore it will stay hot longer.
This style is the worst because while you are overheating and cooling the stones, your hands are not on the client. A good massage school should teach the students to always have at least one hand in contact with the client at all times. The style presented in this videos is also not practical because there are too many things to use and clean.
How long do you leave the stone in cold water? Before taking it out and putting it on the towel?
it depends on the temperature
Until you test and feel the stone temperature is ok
NOT LONG OBVIOUSLY, CAUSE IT WILL COOL, 15 SECONDS AND TAKE THEM OUT

Sounds great!
But you didn’t say what the type of hot stone warmer you recommend
larger ones. Don't buy smaller as they get cold very fast.
I want to try this at home and set up a station
Try it. All stones should be stable.

Thank you! Good to have positive feedback
Make sure the stones are not hot but warm
True, but with my technique you can do both

Its not easy but it's a lot better for the client. Try and see for yourself.
@@BodyologyMassageSchool I used that method. It is no good.
Fantastic. Then, don't do it. @@andrewrubiomanriquez
ANDREW THAT'S TRUE BUT HAVE AN OPEN MIND, IT'S A DIFFERENT TYPE OF MASSAGE, ON AND OFF YOUR APPLYING STONES, IN BETWEEN DO SWEDISH MASSAGE
What a hustle….. Dont like that ‘’technique’’……… i go for pure natural with the strength of my hands onto the body……. 💪🏻😎
Not sure i understand your point
HIRAM+ I DID HOT STONE MASSAGE FOR 1ST TIME THE OTHER DAY AND IT'S PRETTY GOOD, 2 CLIENTS AND WORKS WELL FOR TRANSFERRING HEAT AND WARMING MUSCLES
