Well many cubers had sub 3s before. It's just that teodor was lucky to have it in an official competition.
It's been years since sub 3 was achieved by other cubers but unfortunately it's not on an official comp so it wasn't recognize. Teodor got lucky with an easy scramble, yet, he's good so it's not surprising he did it.
Oh and just because Teodor had sub 3 doesn't make other cubers less of being amazing just so you know~
Plus, the world is round and life is unpredictable. If another cuber get an easy scramble too, who knows if we'll see a 2.5 sec or less.
